*3 months later

I woke up without anyone in my room. It was quiet and my stomach hurt a little as well as my leg. I had no clue where I was. I sat up quickly and looked around the room. Nothing.

Next to me was a pitcher of water and a glass. In front of me was a couch. On my other side was a chair and above the couch was a television. I was freaking out and I had no clue where I was. My mate, no where near me. My twin, not even close to me. I got up and I looked down to see a hospital gown. This wasn't what I remember wearing. I looked around for a clock and I finally found one in the bathroom.

It was almost noon. Why was it so quiet? What was going on? I heard footsteps in the hallway and I walked into my room just as my mother, father, brothers, sister and mate walked through the door.

"Hayden!" Hayley shouted as she ran and jumped into my arms. I didn't say anything. I just held her close to my body with my eyes closed and a smile on my face.

"I missed you so much." She whispered into my neck.

"I missed you too baby girl." I whispered back. My voice was raspy and my throat, dry. Connor got me water and I smiled gratefully at him as I gulped it down. Hayley released me and immediately Connor, Justin, Allen, Brian, River and Brianna all tackled me into a hug. I let out a groan but hugged them all back.

"Alpha Hayden, you're up. Let's see how the wound is." The doctor said. He had me lay down and sent everyone out as I changed into some shorts. Once I was done he examined my stomach and mumbled things to himself as he wrote things down as well.

"You have healed up pretty well but I don't recomend you going straight into training. I would suggest you do very little activity. You can go on short runs and walks but don't shift for a week and be sure to get plenty of rest. You might also want to eat a lot of your mother's cooking. You're starting to look like a skeleton." He laughed.

"So he can go home?" Hayley asked.

"Of course he can. Hell, even if he wasn't completely healed he could go home. He's the Alpha." The doctor said. Will walked in and tossed me some clothes and got everyone out except for him and my brother who stayed to help me get dressed.

"I can dress myself guys." I said as I pulled my shirt on slightly whining.

"Yeah sure." They said at the same time. Once I was dressed I immediately stopped as I looked around the room.

"Where's my watch?" I asked.

"Mom has it." Connor said and led me out of the room. I nodded and followed him out of the room. Hayley smiled and wrapped her arms around my waist. I kissed her head and we all walked out of the hospital.

"Hayden!" A voice shouted before I got hit by a force. A girl I didn't know was currently hugging me as if her life depended on it. It wasn't Abigail and it wasn't anyone I knew.

"I don't know you." I said and pulled her off of me.

"Yeah you do. We went to high school together." The girl said.

"No we didn't." I shot back.

"I'm your mate Hayden." The girl said.

"No you aren't." I growled.

"Yes. I am." She said sternly. I growled loudly and pushed her off of me once again. Hayley grabbed my hand and my attention went to her immediately. The girl grabbed my other hand and Hayley growled loudly stepping towards her. She grabbed the girl's arm and pulled it off of me and shoved her to the ground.

"Hey, baby girl it's alright. I'm all yours." I whispered in Hayley's ear and started to kiss down her neck. The other girl growled but I growled showing authority and she bowed her head submissively.

"Well, that was an interesting thing to see." Brian said. We all looked at him and his eyes went wide. "I didn't mean to say that out loud."

I rolled my eyes and walked with Hayley to the pack house. It's been 3 months since I was hear but I know for a fact that it does not smell like my cousin.

"Hey cousin. I heard about the whole thing and so my Beta took care of my pack while I came to help you. Sure Connor could but he had his own thing to deal with. His mate was actually worried about you." He said.

"That's great news. Now I'm starving." I said as I patted his back.

"Lacey is making lunch if you can wait about five minutes." Jack added.

"Fine." I grumbled and walked to the couch. I laid on the couch with a groan. Hayley looked at me and was about to sit in front of me but I grabbed her hand and pulled her onto the couch with me.

"Hayden, I don't want to hurt you." Sshe whispered.

"You won't hurt me." I whispered back. I pulled her closer to me and slowly closed my eyes and rested my head on her shoulder. I was almost asleep when a throat cleared. I looked up to see a girl I have never seen before who was tapping her foot on the floor.

"Um who the hell are you?" I growled.

"I should ask you the same thing and why are you on a couch with my best friend." The girl said angrily.

"Yeah well I asked you first so I think I deserve an answer." I growled.

"I already told you. I'm her best friend." The girl said.

"A name would be great." I said sarcastically.

"Amanda." The girl said rolling her eyes.

"Can you both shut up. Hayden, please try and rest." Hayley said and wrapped her arms around my waist. I shivered at her touch and did as told until Jack came in.

"Lunch is ready." He said I tapped Hayley and she moved and I kept from the couch and ran into the kitchen.

"What's for lunch. I am starving." I said.

"Hamburgers and fries. Help yourself." Lacey said.

"You're a great cousin Lace." I said and quickly made me a plate. I grabbed enough fries for me a d Hayley and I made her burger just how she likes it and walked back into the living room. I placed my plate on the table in front of the couch and sat down next to Hayley.

"He ran in there like he hasn't ate in months. He looks like he hasn't ate in months." The Amanda girls said. I stiffened and glanced at Hayley who was already munching on her burger.

"He was in a coma for months." Hayley said and leaned into my side. I grabbed my burger and wrapped my arm around Hayley as I ate and listened to their conversation.

"What happened?" She asked.

"Sword fight." I said and grabbed some fries. Hayley was quick to steal some and gave me a stern look.

"So the other guy lived and walked away without a problem. So that means you lost in a sword fight." Amanda said. I stood up quickly with a growl a d walked away and up my stairs to my office. I walked in and slammed the door shut.

"What's his problem?" I heard from downstairs.

"We need to talk." Hayley said.
