Eighteen

"Hayden!" A voice screamed. I screamed and opened my eyes to see Connor on the floor laughing. Hayley wasn't in the room and neither was her scent.

"Where is Hayley?" I asked. My voice was still raspy from sleep but I could care less about that.

"I don't know." Connor shrugged and got up. He went to my closet and pulled out a blue and gray shirt and some jeans th en threw them at me. I grabbed the clothes and walked to my bathroom and changed before walking out to see Connor looking at a picture of us and our cousin at the water park for his birthday.

"Great you're ready. Come on Hayden." He smiled and walked right out of my room. I followed him downstairs and into the kitchen. My mate's scent grew stronger the closer we got to the kitchen.

"Great. You got him up." Hayley smiled. Her and Kelly stood in front of the stove making pancakes, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, and sausage.

"Are there waffles?" I asked as I walked over and kissed Hayley's cheek.

"Yes. I made waffles just for you since you prefer waffles." She giggled. I would eat pancakes without a problem, it's just for some reason I preferred to eat waffles. Probably because it was the only thing I didn't have in common with my twin. Allen ran down with his mate chasing him. He laughed as he his behind me while I got coffee.

"Move." Amanda commanded.

"How about you move or I'll kill you." I growled. She moved and I went to the table and sat down.

"What's his problem Hayley?" She whispered.

"I can hear you." I mumbled sleepily.

"He's still tired and on top of that, he's not always a morning person on weekends." Hayley said.

"I'm going upstairs. Come get me if you need me." I said and grabbed my coffee. I finished it and set it back down before walking back up stairs to my room. I pulled my shoes off and flopped on my bed where I immediately went back to sleep the second that my head hit the pillow.

"Good morning." I smiled as I came downstairs.

"It's one in the afternoon." Amanda said as they all looked at me.

"Shut up." I said immediately while pointing at her.

"Good morning sleepy head. Do you want your waffles now. I had to remake them because Allen ate them all since you were asleep." Hayley said as she got up.

"You made waffles?" I asked with a hopeful look in my eyes. She laughed and led me to the kitchen and handed me a plate of warm waffles with some bacon and Maple syrup on them. I smiled and gave her a quick kiss before digging into my food. In no time I finished my food and washed the dishes.

"What are we doing today?" Hayley asked me.

"I haven't figured that out. But I know that I will be taking you out to lunch." I replied as I turned to her.

"I'm back guys! Did you miss me?" An annoying voice said. Connor and I froze and looked at each other. Hayley was about to say something but I quickly put my hand over her mouth and pulled her outside with Connor.

"What is going on Hayden?" She snapped.

"That girl used to be someone who had a giant crush on him. She still does. On a dare he had to flirt around with her for a couple of days. One time that girl took it too far and was about to kiss him until I stepped in." Connor said.

"You flirted with another girl?" Hayley asked slightly hurt.

"It was a dare baby girl. I wouldn't dream of doing something like that again." I said to her as I pulled her into me. The door opened and the girl from high school that I flirted with walked out, Jane.

"Who is she?" Jane sneered as she pointed at my mate. I acted like I didn't hear her and then pressed a kiss to Hayley's lips.

"Hayden." Jane said louder. Hayley turned around and I looked at Jane who smiled.

"Connor. Hayden. You two remember Jane." Justin said with a fake smile.

"Oh yeah. We are kind of busy." I said and threw a wink at Hayley. Just then Amanda and Kelly ran out with something in their hand.

"Hayley, the doctor brought the pictures of the baby." Amanda said.

"When did you go to the doctor?" I asked her.

"While you were asleep. I asked for pictures so you could see." Hayley said. She showed me them and pointed to where the baby was. I smiled and took the pictures, looking at them longer. It made more real than before.

"You got her pregnant?" Jane practically shouted.

"Jane, you can only get your mate pregnant." Justin said rolling his eyes.

"Hayden is my mate though." Jane growled and took a step towards Hayley. I let out a loud warning growl as I pulled Hayley to me.  Connor stepped closer and the girls blocked Jane's way.

"Mine." I growled. Jane backed up and Connor stepped back a little.

"All yours." Hayley whispered and wrapped her arms around me. I visibly relaxed and wrapped my arms around her as well. I pressed a soft kiss to her forehead before turning to Connor.

"We need to start packing. We have to be moved in before my kid is born." I said.

"Alright. Big stuff first and then little stuff." Connor said.

"Well that whole place is already furnished so I think we just need clothes and personal belongings." I shrugged.

"Alright. That helps a bit." Connor said and ran off.

"Come on baby girl, we have to pack." I said smiling. She nodded and we walked into the pack house. Everyone was packing and talking about the kingdom excitedly. Inside the castle walls was a village that they would live in. The only people who would be in the castle would be me, my mate and family unless they chose to live in the village. I could tell that this would be good for everyone in the pack and it made me proud.
