Chapter 11: Hate

I was discharged the next day because I convinced the headmistress and told her that I want to go back to the Academy instead of wasting more time in the hospital. One month doing nothing is enough.

"She's the controller! We can't hide this to the Council, Alyana! They will kill her once they find out who she is!"

Both of them are arguing like I wasn't here with them. I can't understand what they are saying. Miss Hilda tried to calm them down. Parang ang buong pagkatao ko ay isang banta sa buhay ng lahat. Maliwanag sa akin na papatayin ako ng Council sa oras na malaman nilang nandito ako sa mundo nila. Na ang hinahanap nila noon ay narito na.

"She is not normal! She now knows who her father is! Gusto mo bang lumala pa 'to, Alyana?! Once she is under the control of her own father, it won't be a good idea! Kaya nga siya hinahanap ng lahat dati! Alam natin na kailangan natin siyang ibigay sa Council, Alyana!"

"She's our student! It's our duty to keep her safe and help her!" Ma'am Alyana said. "We almost made a mistake before! We should not do it again! Her mother was given a chance to prove that her child isn't someone who would be a threat to this world!"

I was confused and lost. I couldn't understand what they are arguing about. I don't know the past. And I have no plan of asking because I am sure that they won't even tell

Bumuntong hininga ako. They are arguing as if I am not here. Pagkarating na pagkarating ko pa lang dito ay nagtatalo na sila. Sir Vince looked stressed and frustrated, Miss Hilda looked concerned, and Ma'am Alyana, our Headmistress, looked calm. She might be arguing with him, but she still looks calm and knows how to handle this situation well.

It is confirmed that they already met my mother before. I just do not know how and when. Also, I still do not know if the Headmistress really almost tried to kill my mother. Wala akong balak itanong dahil wala naman silang sinasagot. Wala rin naman silang binibigay sa akin. Ni hindi ko nga alam kung nasaan na si Auntie. All I know is she's dead.

"Amara," Miss Hilda called me. "Are you ready to talk to us now? We gave you enough time. I think we should talk to you before anything bad happens again."

"I'm all ears."

Both of them looked at each other. Si Sir Vince naman ay nakatayo hindi kalayuan sa amin at nakatingin lang sa bintana habang nakikinig nang matapos na silang magtalo.

"What did he tell you?" Ma'am Alyana asked. "We know you are aware who that man is to you. What else did he tell you?"

You tried to kill my mother. "Nothing. He wants me to come with him. That's all."

Sir Vince scoffed and yells, ''See? She's starting to lie and hide things from us!"

''Vince,'' the Headmistress called him in a warning tone that made him shut up and shrugged.

Halata sa mukha nilang hindi sila naniwala sa akin. Ngunit wala rin akong balak na paniwalain sila. All of them are hiding something to me. All of them knew who my father was, but no one mentioned anything to me. What else do I have to know? What are they hiding?
