Part 2

"Hey Baek!" Junmyeon, his workmate, caught his attention as he placed a cup of Chocolate Frappe on Baekhyun's desk.

The busy male's eyes narrowed at him. A free drink means Junmyeon must need something from him.

"What do you want?" Baekhyun asked, taking his glance from his laptop's screen for a little while.

"You've been staring at your screen and murdering your keyboard for a while now. Why don't you chill for a minute?" Junmyeon said, clicking his tongue as he flashed his signature, handsome (Baekhyun might puke) smile.

"I envy you for having so much time to even notice me. I'd rather have you take some of my tickets, I still have a bug to fix!" Baekhyun complained, recklessly sipping from the free frappe he just got.

"Ahh! Brain-freeze!" He whined.

Junmyeon only laughed at him. "Uh, nope. I'm a very busy man." He told his friend, making Baekhyun flash a grin.

"Not busy enough to buy me a drink though." He said, teasing his friend.

Junmyeon raised both of his arms as he shook his head. "I didn't say that was from me." He stated, making Baekhyun's eyes wide.

"Wait-- what!?" He almost shouted. Luckily, he reminded himself right on time that he's in the office and there's a high chance that he might disturb his colleagues from working if he suddenly shouts.

"Who gave you this?" He asked, voice evident of forming anger.

"Correction, Baek. Who gave you that. Emphasize on 'you'." Junmyeon truly loved teasing his friend.

"Don't make me ask you again, Junmyeon." Baekhyun warned. Face turning red in frustration. "Is this dirty? Are you pranking me? Is this how you'll repay me for being a good friend--"

"Calm down! Jeez." Junmyeon wanted to laugh. "That's from the newbie. Seems like he have a little crush on you." He teased the smaller who instantly calmed down upon knowing that the drink, at least, came from someone he knows.

"Just read the note and stop whining." Junmyeon told him before leaving his cubicle.

Baekhyun now calmed down, but the new information he just got almost made him laugh.

"A little crush on me?" Baekhyun smirked as he took the sticky note that is pasted on the cup.

Is this right here earlier?

How come I haven't noticed?

"You are cute.
I hope you'd notice me.

Baekhyun really wanted to laugh.

"Cute?" Baekhyun scoffs. "Cute is an understatement. I am gorgeous."

He can't believe his eyes.

He can't believe his fate.

Of all the places.. Of all the people.

Why him?

"You were saying?" He heard Chanyeol's voice amidst the loud sound of his heartbeats. It was challenging, urging him to continue with his paused statement.

It was mocking him. He's sure of that.

Clearing his throat, Baekhyun stood straight as his expression turned stoic, flashing false bravado in front of the man he loathes the most.
