Jace's POV
After sending my tweet, tumayo na rin ako, and Lancy, following my lead also stood up, looking at me as if asking kung anong meron.
"Let's go to Mommy?" I asked.
Like usual, he answered with a bark. I don't know if he can really understand me, but I like to believe he can. Nag-wag din yung tail niya at the mention of "Mommy."
It's been about 4 months since I moved here now. I can say I'm really at home na dito and I really love my work at the hotel, because I know I can contribute to helping the abandoned and abused animals, as well.
I can say me and Geraldine have gotten closer now. Parang we just fell into place after her Japan trip and naiwan sa'kin si Lancy. We usually hang out now, and not unless nagkasalisi sa schedule, we usually take Lancy on walks together now.
Honestly, the more I get to know Geraldine, the more I like her. She really is different from other girls I know, in the way that I couldn't really predict what she'd say, but then again, whatever she says is just so like her. I don't even know if that makes sense. But yeah, we get to discuss things now, too. And as amazing as she is, she really is patient with my speech and I very rarely have to repeat a word when we talk.
Pag nag-uusap kami, sometimes I even forget I have a speech problem.
But then, I still can't say her name correctly.
I sighed at that thought.
Lumabas na rin kami nun at nauna pa si Lancy pabalik sa condo nila. Dun lang din naman kasi siya pabalik-balik. Sa condo ko and sa condo nila.
Kumatok naman ako, pero hindi sumasagot si Geraldine. I looked at Lancy in confusion. Isn't she inside?
Kumatok uli ako and called, "Gee?"
Since I have to say it out loud, I didn't even dare to try saying her full name.
