"I'm bored. Can we do something exciting?" Luke whined, as the Super Seven strolled down Oxford Street.
Strolled being a rather calm word for it, considering the girls were trying hard not to let the boys get lost in the busy throng of shoppers that were bustling their way past them. It was only November, but apparently that was near enough to Christmas for the streets to be manic with the early purchasers.
"This is exciting Luke. Look, there's Urban Outfitters!" Arna cried, pointing at the shop on the left of the road slightly in front of them, "From here on in is when it begins to get really good."

Luke didn't agree with Arna.
It was a nice enough shop, but he didn't get why she and Layla were quite so enthralled. It was just another clothes shop, where everywhere looked nice.There was a mug that said 'DICK' on it, and the D was the handle, and Luke really liked that. He thought it was very funny. So funny in fact that Layla bought it for him. Although Luke knew his mum would never let him have it in the house, and he'd probably have to give it to Michael as a Christmas present, it was a still a nice gesture, and he thanked her profusely.
"Hey Lala, how much is this in dollars?" Calum asked, holding up the jumper he and Michael had been admiring (Arna and Ashton had disappeared into the home ware section together, and hadn't been seen for 15 minutes), "If 10p is 15 dollars, then this is, what? Like, 3000?"
"I don't know, how many pounds is it?" She asked, walking over with Josie in tow.
"30."
"Then it's 3000, yeah."
Calum whistled, "Holy mama. That is one expensive jumper."
Josie was attempting to hold in her laughter as she watched Michael's reaction.
"Jesus Christ Layla. Is the whole of England loaded or something like that?" He breathed.
She smirked at him and leant on a display of cardigans, "Nope. We're just willing to pay for quality. Now I think we should retrieve the lovers and make a move. Luke's getting restless again."
Mikey shook his head at the younger boy and crossed him arms, "Honestly Luke, are you 6 or 16?" He tutted in a condescending tone.
Luke stuck his tongue out in response and linked arms with Layla.
"I'll go find the others." Josie offered.
"Ta, Jo." Layla replied.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Oh my god. No." Calum groaned as he felt a cold rain drop his cheek, "England. Why?"
"Are you kidding me? That was literally one drop of water." Arna raised an eyebrow at him, "You can't complain already."
"I lost my raincoat." Luke groaned.
"Stop whining Luke!" Ash moaned back at him, thwacking him lightly on the arm, "We're here to have fun."
"Yes. Fun. Fun with your gal pals." Layla laughed, wiggling both brows in Luke's direction.
"Well where are the gal pals taking us next?" Calum asked, catching up with Layla and Luke at the front of the squad.
"Hm," Layla replied, "I have no idea. Covent Garden? Tower of London? Brick Lane?"
"Anywhere without rain." Michael replied.
"Can I suggest Hawaii?" Josie asked, "I hear the climate's highly desirable over there."
"Don't be a smart ass." Mikey replied, rolling her eyes at her.
"Can't help it. The humour lies within." She laughed at him with a smug grin.
"3000 dollars." Calum, at the front of the group with Layla, muttered under his breath, "That is insane. It wasn't even that nice."
Layla caved, and turning to face him with a grin, she said, "You do know I was joking right? 1 pound is 1 dollar and 79 cents. So 10p is like 17, 18 cents? I don't know, something like that."
He grinned back at her, "You dirty, rotten liar. I ought to get you back for this."
She just smirked at him, "Good luck."
That was when the heavens opened. Quite literally.
Water began to pour out of the sky so that all the group could see was a constantly moving wall of white streaks in front of them.
"Get inside!" An incredibly damp Layla yelled, grabbing Luke and Calum's hands and dragging them into the nearest shop, which happened to be Anthropologie.
They looked like seven drowned rats.
"We were out there for what? 3 seconds? And look at us!" Ashton laughed.
"My clothes are literally sticky with rain." Calum said.
"I hate this." Luke moaned.
"Would you lot stop? Let's just have a good time alright?" Josie instructed.
Arna pushed her hair out of hair face, "Let's explore this ginormous shop and wait for the rain to stop."
The boys sighed collectively, "Fine."
"But I'm not trying anything on." Calum added, as they all wandered off.
