Savannah's POV

Liam pulls up to my house,

"I'll pick you up Monday morning for school. What time do you want me to come get you?" I think, looking around.

"I don't know, I'll call you." He nods,

"Okay. Call me if you need anything." I give him a small smile.

"Okay. Alpha." I joke,

"See you later, Luna." I roll my eyes and close his car door.

"There you are Savannah!" I look at my mom visibly irritated.

"What did you talk to Liam about, Mother?" I ask her, she stops walking to me and I walk into the kitchen, grabbing an apple.

"I was asking what his intentions are." She answers awkwardly fast.

Real smooth mother. Real smooth.

"No, you didn't. You said that I was dangerous and if Liam valued his life he would stay away from me." I told her. She scoffs,

"And where did you hear this nonsense from?" She asks, knowing she's been caught.

"I was listening on the stairs." I lie, taking a bite of the apple, "So why did you tell him that?" I ask again. She sighs,

"I don't want you dating." She says shrugging walking to me.

"I've dated before, you didn't have a problem before, so what is it now?"

"You're different." I look at her with narrow eyes,

"What's different?" I cross my arms,

"You're at that age where you don't want to be around me anymore, like last night you didn't come home and that boy dropped you off. I don't want anyone taking you away from me."

"I was in the hospital Lailani! At least Liam had the fucking decency to visit me! Then when I get out you tell me bullshit? You're supposed to be my mother! Not some backstabbing bitch!" I yell at her. She blinks and takes a step back from me.

"Go to your room." She says after a while.

"Gladly." I walk to the back and get my dog.

"Come on boy," I say, he whines; knowing my temper is skyrocketing. I walk up the stairs to my room and lock the door.

"I'm dangerous, okay." I laugh and go shower.

I wake up Monday morning sore.

Dreams take a toll on my body huh?

I take my pills and call Liam.

"Hey, kitten. I'm outside." He says

"Okay." I finish up, dressing in a short sleeve shirt over a big hoodie and big sweatpants. I wake up Franklin and he follows me outside, I refill his food and water then walk out the door, ignoring Lailani's calls.

"Morning." He says, opening the car door. I take off my bag and sit down, putting on my seatbelt and wait for Liam to get in the driver's seat.

"Ready?" I nod and he drives off to school.
