When Sam walked into the kitchen the next morning, he found a note written to him from Cass. Angels called. Be back as soon as I can it read. Sam sighed and placed the note back onto the counter. Ellen and Bobby were making breakfast quietly. Jo, Kevin, and Henry were in the library reading everything they could find on the Mark of Cain. Gabriel was nowhere to be found as usual. No one talked much anymore, not since Dean and Faith died. Sam knew he couldn't be Dean and Faith for them, but it's been weeks. They needed to focus on finding Dean and bringing him home. There was nothing else they could do, but they had no leads. A single lead, even the tiniest was what Sam was hoping for. As if Heaven answered his call, Sam's phone began to ring. He dug it out of his pocket and looked at the caller id, 666. A number he never expected to see on his phone again.

"Crowley," Sam said, answering the phone.

"Moose, it's been a long time," Crowley said, "I wouldn't have expected you to answer your phone."

"You brought my sister and brother to their deaths Crowley," Sam said, "I would like nothing more than to stab you in your neck."

"Well for your information, your brother is very much alive," Crowley answered, "he's accepted himself for what he is now, like your sister did not so long ago."

"If you had never brought us to Cain, Faith wouldn't be dead," Sam yelled.

"I do apologize about her death," Crowley said, "I did like your sister. She was a warrior who cared about family. That's something that's hard to find these days."

"Why are you calling Crowley," Sam demanded.

"As it so happens to turn out, your brother has crossed me. I'm done with him, you can come pick him up whenever you like," Crowley offered.

"I'm supposed to believe that you're holding my brother captive," Sam asked.

"Not so much as captive. He's drinking in a bar as we speak," Crowley said, "He's yours for the taking."

"If my brother's been with you all these weeks, why hasn't he called me or left a message," Sam asked.

"Because your brother doesn't care about you anymore," Crowley said.

"What's that supposed to mean," Sam asked.

"Your brother is like me now," Crowley said, "when he died the Mark brought him back, just not as himself."

"Crowley, what the hell have you done to my brother," Sam hissed.

"Your brother's a demon," Crowley said. Sam stood still. He stopped everything.

"That's impossible," Sam said.

"Not as impossible as your sister coming back," Crowley said.

"What," Sam asked.

"There is a way to bring you soldier sister back," Crowley said again, "she's in Purgatory. Go get her."

"Why are you telling me this Crowley," Sam demanded, "what do you want?"

"Why do you Winchesters always assume I want something," Crowley asked.

"You just told me that my brother's alive and a way to bring back Faith," Sam said, "you have to want something."

"What I want is the Winchester family reunited once more," Crowley answered, "you may not believe me, but your family keeps everything in balance. You keep Hell interesting, but with two of you gone, Hell is boring."

"So that's why you're helping? Because Hell is boring," Sam asked.

"I'm helping because I want to," Crowley yelled, "I've had to lock my wife up just to keep her from ruining the empire I built. You three need to be reunited so Faith can come back and fix my wife."
