It's been two months since the Winchester brothers have seen their sister. Cass has assured them that she's fine, but that hasn't been enough to ease them. Both of the Winchesters have felt guilty about letting Faith leave the bunker. They know that it wasn't their place to stop her, but they don't like the idea of her being alone, especially now since she's human. They know they had no choice but to let her go. It was for the best for everyone.

Dean no longer has nightmares about Faith. In fact, he's gotten better over these past two months. Faith hasn't called Sam with any new information about the Mark, but they do know that she's hunting.

Every time the boys rolled into a town for a case, they had found that the monster had already been taken care of. The brothers didn't need to ask who it was, they knew. Faith had picked up hunting faster than she ever had before. They didn't like that she was hunting alone either. They didn't like anything that Faith was doing right now, but they can't do anything about it. One Wednesday morning, Dean was on his laptop looking for cases when he found one.

"Sam," he called out. Sam walked into the library to join his brother.

"What," he asked.

"I think I got a case," Dean said, "Lake Manitoc, Wisconsin, last week, Sophie Carlton, 18, walks into the lake and doesn't walk out. Authorities dragged the water- nothing. Sophie Carlton is the third Lake Manitoc drowning this year. None of the other bodies were found either. They had a funeral two days ago."

"A funeral," Sam asked.

"Yeah, they buried an empty casket for closure or whatever," Dean answered.

Sam sighed, "Ok, let's go."

The nine-hour drive was aggravating. Though neither one of them admitted it, each of the Winchesters was hoping to find their sister here. When they arrived in Lake Manitoc, it was sunny and warm. The brothers were in their fed suits when they pulled up to the house that the missing girl had lived in. Already parked in the driveway was the car that Faith had taken from the bunker.

"Is that," Sam started.

"Let's go," Dean said, getting out of the car. Sam sighed and followed Dean, closing the door to the Impala. As the two of them walked up the steps of the house, the front door opened. An old man and a woman stood there.

"Again, I'm so sorry for your loss," the woman said. She was wearing dress pants, a blue shirt, and a blazer along with black heels. Those particular black heels were the same black heels that can get rid of ghosts, sting shapeshifters and ghouls, and hurt vampires.

"Thank you, Agent Clarke," the old man said.

"I'll let you know if we find anything," the woman said. The old man's attention finally turned towards Sam and Dean.

"Can I help you gentlemen," the old man asked. Sam and Dean cleared their throats and showed him their fake badges.

"Agents Dinklage and Bean with the Wildlife Service," Sam said, "We were supposed to ask you some questions, but it seems as though Agent Clarke beat us to it." Sam could swear that he saw the faintest of smiles on his sister's face. Dean looked at Faith and he definitely noticed.

"So it would," Faith said, her smile turning a glare. She turned back towards the old man, "thank you again for your time, Mr. Carlton." She walked off the porch, the old man walking back into his house. Sam and Dean followed her off the porch, but she refused to turn towards them.

"Faith," Dean yelled, "Please wait!" Faith stopped and sighed before turning towards her two brothers.

"What are you doing here," she asked them. Faith's arm was no longer in a cast and her face was fully healed though there was a small scar across her lip.
