Ch.6

Y/n's POV
It was Saturday. Our first week of school was finished. It was finally time to relax.

*Ring* *Ring* *Ring*

"You have got to be kidding me."
My phone had started ringing. Great. I picked up my phone and looked at the profile.

T-Boi

I was surprised that Toby was calling, but then again, he didn't have many friends. And to be honest, I was kind of glad that he was calling.

"Hello?"

"Hey Y/n!"

"Hey!"

"I was heading to the park for a little while, and was wondering if you wanted to join me."

"Oh! Sure, just let me get Lillith and I-"

"NO!"
"I mean...I wanted us to be alone... Just me and you."

"Oh...Okay then, when can I meet you?"

"Well...I'm kinda already outside your house."

I looked out the window, and there he was. I could see his brown hair poking out from underneath the hoodie he had on. He looked up at me and smirked.

"Nice shorts."

I blushed and closed the curtains.
"Pervert!"

I could hear him laugh as I changed into some warmer clothes. I hung up the phone and put on my shoes. I told Lillith that I was leaving but she was on the phone.
Probably with the pizza guy.

I walked outside and immediately saw Toby sitting on the front porch.
"Come on doofus, let's get going."

He stood up and wrapped his arm around my shoulder, I flinched at how cold his hand was on my neck.

"Toby, are you catching something?"

"What?"

"You're hand is...really cold."

"Oh, I'm sure it's nothing."

"Hmm, Ok then."

We walked across the block and made it to the park a few minutes later. I rushed to the swings and waited for Toby to make it over.

"Really?" He cocked his head to the side, "This is what we're doing?"

"Yeah, push me!" I squealed, kicking my l/s legs back and forth. Toby sighed and came up behind me. He pushed so hard the wind came out of my chest. (lol)

We spent the rest of the day messing around with everything else at the park. At one point, I hid in a bush and waited for Toby to find me. It didn't take long.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm being sneeky."
He laughed. "Ok sneeky, whatever you say."

It started to get dark so Toby started to walk me home. As we walked, I noticed that he kept taking glances at me.

"Is something wrong, Toby?"
He flinched, thinking of what to say.

"Umm...Y/n, I was w-wondering if you wanted to go o-out with me some-t-time."

By the time he stuttered it out we had made it to my house.
I turned to look at him.
I grabbed his cheek gently and placed a kiss on it.

"I would love to."
