My Robot Boy (Hiro x OC)

Six; People of Tokyo

Hiro had his next target picked and was ready to go. He stopped by my apartment to tell me what he was doing before leaving. He was going to attack the police station.

"Can I come with you this time?" I ask.

He thought it over for a minute then finally decided. "Cover your face"

I smiled widely and ran to grab a scarf from my closet. As I hurried back over to him I wrapped it around my neck, pulling some of it up so it was covering my mouth and nose. I also put my sunglasses over my eyes. Then I grabbed my machine gun, putting my strap around my body as I let the gun sit on my back.

"Let's go"

He picked me up and we flew off. In the police station I shot any cop that was shooting at us, that Hiro hadn't already shot down. Finally we cleared all the floors and were heading back out the front.

I loaded the machine gun, aiming it in the direction of where more cops would be running in. We stood in the front lobby, me preparing for the ambush I knew was to come.

"You should know by now that I don't run, and I'm not going to be taking any other side than your own"

"Do they know about you working with me?"

"There's a theory I've heard from some hacked conversations and files that I'm just a hostage. That you're forcing me to be by your side"

"Good"

He took my gun and broke it in half then led me outside. A bunch of police with shields and guns and lights in our faces. Hiro grabbed my arm and spun me around so I was facing him.

"Wha-"

He held his finger to my stomach. My eyes widened as I realized what he was going to do. I didn't beg for him to stop or think of something else, I let him shoot me in the stomach. He held me up with both of his hands on my ja before I could fall.

"Thank you. You made me feel alive again," he whispered, letting my body drop.

He stepped over me and continued down the steps towards the police. I rolled over so I could see what was happening and saw him fly to the side after getting shot in the head by a sniper.

Half a dozen special force members circled him, shooting him nonstop. More came in and kept shooting until he stopped moving. They thought he was dead, but it was clear he wasn't.

They stopped shooting and one man approached him, nudging him with his foot. They all circled him again but his body flew up into the air, light beams shooting every single cop and news person in the vicinity. Then his body dropped onto the hood of a cop car.

It started to rain. Hiro, after not moving for ten minutes, sat up and shot the two out of three cops that were left. He spoke to the third cop who looked to be hobbling along, then came over to me.

He picked me up and walked away from the police station like nothing had happened. He walked straight to my apartment, which wasn't very far away. Once we were inside he set me down on my bed and healed me.

"I'm sorry"

"No, you did good," I told him, sitting up. "Now they think I'm just a hostage, they have to, you shot me. And all the police that I killed inside are dead, so they can't say anything. Thank you"

He shoved me down onto the bed, straddling me, and he kissed me roughly. When he pulled away he smiled down at my surprised and red face.

"Sorry. The urge just came over me"

"No, it's okay, don't stop"

I was on a roof with Hiro, watching him as he prepared for his next attack. This one was going to be more public than any of the previous ones.

"Testing, testing," Hiro said from every single possible tv he could access. "This is Hiro Shishigami. Um... as long as this country exists, I will continue to be pursued. So I've decided to destroy this country. I'll say it outright. This is a war between me and this country. I've always hated this country. Every person in this country is my enemy. I will continue killing until there is no one left. I will keep killing until all 120-some-odd million of you are dead. I'll repeat. I am declaring war on this country. Every person in this country is my enemy. I will continue killing until there is no one left. Now, let's get started"

He stopped recording from the camera in his hand and we both moved to the end of the roof. He repeated the word 'bang' so many times it was hard to tell just how many people he had killed, but it was a lot.

I watched from a pair of binoculars where we were, as everyone in the crowded street ran away or dropped.
