《Yaoyorozu's POV》
I don't know why I felt so scared. Was it that I've never been in Akihabara by myself? Or was it that there had been an increasing number of rape incidents and kidnappings in Tokyo. Whatever the reason was, it didn't stop me from turning around to reveal the person who was holding on to my wrist for life.
"E-excuse me. Do you need help?" What are you doing, Momo!? You were taught better than to talk to a stranger, no matter the circumstance.
"I was looking for my daughter. But I can't seem to find her anywhere. Would you lovely lady help?" His voice was deep and raspy. It sounded like he was struggling to talk.
"I have to get going, I apologize, sir. I hope that she turns up safe and sound." I start to take my wrist away from his grasp, but he didn't let go. Please, please, please let me go.
"Why would you go? You just got here." What? How did he know that? There was no one around me, in the buildings or around, so that means...
He was stalking me.
My breathing becomes tattered and my heart beats were running marathons. I could easily figure out the situation, as well as the solution, but the problem was if I could execute it.
"I arrived here thinking that this was where my friend wanted to meet me, but it seems that I read the address wrong. I really need to go, my friends are waiting."
"Friends? Girl friends of yours? That's great." I swear that I heard him say that with a chuckle. Horrifying.
I broke out of his grip and looked at the man for a split second. In that small moment, I saw his face. His wrinkled, pus-infested, rotten face. I shuddered as I ran away from him as fast as I could. For quite some time, I had started planning out the basic blueprints for a motorbike. When I believed the man was out of my sight, I lifted my dress and created the vehicle.
I don't have my license. I don't even have my learners. But I've studied road signs and car mechanics before, so my knowledge in driving was okay enough for me to be on the road. Illegally.
I rushed through the quiet alleyways of Akihabara and finally found the maintown.
I used a payphone to call Uraraka and the others, but they didn't reply.
"Damn it," I cursed, "I'm gonna have to call my driver."
I was avoiding calling my driver because of his daughter's birthday, so I put that thought out of my head. I was in busy Tokyo, too. I'll catch a taxi.
I've never drove or "caught" a taxi before, so I was awkwardly holding a thumb out like a hitchhiker. What else would I do? I've only ever seen this in movies and I barely leave my house either.
《Todoroki POV》
I was out to buy groceries for the 1-A alliance dorms, which I did not volunteer for. No one else, not even the Senseis, were willing to, so Aizawa-Sensei picked a student. That student just so happened to be me. I don't mind, more like I don't care, but it was getting hard to carry 8 bags with two hands.
A snag in the threading of the blue button shirt I was wearing caught one of the bags I was holding. I dropped a bag with apples in it as I was crossing a street next to a building with a Yoshinoya banner on it. The apples rolled as far as the other building beside me, where a certain raven-haired girl was sticking out her thumb with an awkward determined face.
"Yaoyorozu?" I started to step towards her to grab the apples and talk to her.
"Todoroki? That's strange, I never expected to see you in such a busy place." She put her arm down and turned to look at me with her eyes darker than black holes. Goddamn, they were enchanting. They had small specks of blue and green, from the neon lights all around us. Her eyelashes stuck out longer than I remembered and her face was paler than usual.
