There was a sudden silence that filled the room as we started the game. All of us picked out a single stick and looked at it slowly. Well, at least I know I did.
"Yes!" I heard Jirou yell across from me as I looked at her sternly, in a way to signal her that she shouldn't do anything too extreme.
"Number 1 and number 4 need to drink for a minute straight. They can only rest to take a breath." Starting with alcohol already? That seems like it's spelling out trouble for us.
"I'm one." I hear Asui speak up from beside me as she sounded very lackadaisical about the whole situation. Like she didn't care about what happened, which is admirable.
"I'm... four." Kodai raised a hand up as her eyes trailed to ground. Her eyes looked meek and her mouth seemed confused about whether to smile or frown. I'm sure that she was either excited about this experience or terrified.
Jirou looked over to the two of them. "Alright, you two! Get started!" Why was she so happy? She's always the one that keeps others under control, even when I can't, so this behaviour of hers was irregular.
I hear Kodai gulp and Asui ribbit as they poured themselves quite a large glass of sake. The liquid smelled so pungent, it started to hurt. Finally, the two took their glass and let it meet their mouth. Asui pinched her nose with her free hand to rid the smell and Kodai, very cutely, closed her eyes as she lifted the glass and drank.
"Blegh!" Kodai dropped out of her intense drinking session to breath and curse in disgust.
We all started to laugh when Asui put down her glass, without even taking a break to breath, and jokingly saying she wanted more.
"I didn't know you would like sake that much, Asui!" Uraraka seemed to be beaming with energy as the first round was pretty entertaining.
"No, it tasted horrible. But it doesn't seem to be affecting me." Asui seemed to be sober? I don't know the exact slang term for it; I know it has to do with sobriety.
"Another round! Another, please!" Ashido was clapping her hands together playfully as she bounced around on her hind legs.
We reset the game and picked out our sticks. This time, Shiozaki received the Ousama stick.
"Um, I don't know if I can, if I can tell anyone to do anything bad." I glad she was being as cautious as I am. "Nu-number 3 and 5 m-must, um, clean the room?"
Everyone chuckled at Shiozaki's last statement.
"Clean? Try something more intense. It's more fun that way." Uraraka giggled with an almost sly look to her face.
"Okay, then, number 3 and 5 have to go up to their homeroom teacher and tell them that the dorms are on fire." That took a turn.
I looked down at my stick reading a small '5' etched into it.
"I'm number 5." I raised up my right hand, "Small question, do I have to?"
"Oh, come on, Yaomomo! It'll be funny!" Jirou poked my left arm with her ear jack.
"Ouch!" I started to rub my arm just as "number 3" spoke up.
"I'm number three this round! Yay!" Ashido hooked arms with me. "Let's go, Yaomomo! Aizawa-Sensei will be pissed!"
I got up from the floor and so did the others to see what would happen. Ashido was cheerfully gliding along to Aizawa-sensei's room while I seemed to be holding on to her arm a little tighter, like a toddler and its mother.
"We're here! Come on, knock on his door." Ashido urged me to be the one who disturbs him first.
I lifted up my hand and knocked on his door with a look of uncertainty on my face.
Aizawa-sensei is someone I admire, not only because of his valiant efforts to protect class 1-A, but also how he could help bring my confidence back, even if it was just a thought he had. Nevertheless, I show him upmost respect, so I really didn't want to be the one who bothers him. I would feel an immense amount of guilt.
"Hm?" Aizawa-sensei scouted the top front of his door, then the bottom to see me and Ashido standing in front.
"What do you two need? I'm tired and its getting late." Funny thing is, it was only 7:45.
"The, um, t-the dorms are on fire." Ashido elbowed me to tell me that I needed to be more convincing.
"What?"
"I-I said the dorms are on fire!" I finally managed to muster out the confidence that I worked so hard to regain.
I could hear the others snickering and giggling at me. At least they were having fun.
"What!? Quickly, get everyone awake and get them evacuated. How big is the fire? Is it quirk-caused? Did Todoroki do something?" I chuckled slightly at his last question. That seems unlikely, but it's funny to think about Todoroki panic and lose control of his quirk.
I looked over to my friends subtly waiting for some sort of a signal. They nodded, which I think represented telling Aizawa-sensei where the 'fire' was.
"The fire is over on the other hallway! You should hurry!" Ashido seemed to be getting in character.
...
After a few minutes, we saw Aizawa-sensei walk back to his room where we had been waiting.
"There's no fire. False alarm." We looked over at Aizawa-sensei confused as he sounded all serious and didn't realize that we didn't do what he asked. I figured that he was playing along from the very start to amuse us.
"Also, you girls should try to tone your acting careers."
The others eyes seemed to open slightly at Aizawa-sensei. The entire way back to Uraraka's room was just us talking about what just happened.
When we got back, we played a few more rounds. Everyone had a chance to be Ousama, and everyone started to include alcohol in their dares, even me. At the end, we were all tipsy and dizzy. My hair was open and my red shirt was wrinkly. Asui still remained unaffected, so she walked Tokage, Kodai, Kendo, and Shiozaki back to their dorm buildings as the rest of us scrawled our way out.
My head had been hurting way too much, to the point where I couldn't see very well. Everyone else got to their room safe and sound as I went to the washroom to see if I needed to puke out the putrid alcohol. I'm fine. I really wasn't. On my trip to my room, my legs went weak and my breathing sounded swollen and scratchy.
No, not again.
My body collapsed onto the floor like what happened the other day. I hit my head first, giving me a surge of pain I didn't need at that moment. My legs had tumbled over one another and I twisted my left ankle as I fell. My eyes gave up and so did my body as I tried to get back up. Don't... worry. You collapsed hard, someone must've heard.
My conscience started to fade out. I could hear someone calling to me. I tried to stay awake, but instead I fell fast asleep.
You're so stupid, Momo. So, so stupid.
