《Todoroki's POV》

I had texted Momo while walking in the hallway to come to UA's library with me afterschool for studying and what not because she always has her head stuck in a book or two. I haven't visited the school's library before, but from what I hear, it's pretty extensive, considering the funds this school gets.

I found my way to the library entrance, which was these colossal doors that looked like any other of the doors around me, but it had a thin gold lining around the frame. Probably real gold too. I pushed the doors open with one arm to reveal a brimming place. The ceiling was higher than the ceilings outside in the hallways, the windows were these interesting glass-stained in the shape of hibiscus flowers, there were computers and desks placed everywhere, the shelves reached nearly to the ceiling and there was no space empty in them, and there was a peculiar scent. It seemed oddly familiar.

Smells like wood or something. Wait, no, it smells like...

I hear a buzz go off in my front pocket and pull out my phone to see what it was.

It was a message from Momo.

I felt like I smiled at just looking at her name. I probably did.

I open the message to see her confirming my question about the library, which, if I'm going to be honest, made me a bit excited, even if you couldn't see it on my face.

I reply, Looking forward to seeing you.

I wouldn't see her though. My sister had called me about my mother; she was in critical condition from falling in her hospital room and injuring her neck. That news isn't one that you want to hear, especially not about your mother. I ran out the school too fast to tell Momo I couldn't come, but she'd understand.

《Yaoyorozu's POV》

I start my walk towards the library quite confidentially, as I've gone there many times. The only thing I'm worried about is talking to Todoroki. It seemed that, yesterday, Bakugou wanted me to tell him about my encounter with 'The Akihabara Man' for some reason.

Hmm, do I really have to tell anyone anything? It wasn't that serious.

I arrive at the library and scout my eyes to search for Shouto.

Is he not here yet? No, I'm just not looking hard enough.

I walked around a bit and looked everywhere, under the desks even. Still, he was nowhere. I figured he was in the washroom or at his locker getting something, so I sat down at a table and pulled out a book about one of my new interests: dark matter. I mean, what's not to like about it?

I realized that I was at the library an abnormal amount of time, so I picked up my bag and started to leave the area.

My goodness! It's 6:00 PM, already?

I head to Heights Alliance to change into something more presentable than my UA uniform to meet with Awase, but not anything too fancy. I decided to wear a pink jumpsuit with shorts and black tights underneath it. I threw on my overcoat as I usually would and tied my hair in a half bun ponytail. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, I mean what her hair looked like in the movie)

I headed out the building with a look of uncertainty on my face; I'm always thinking, aren't I? I wanted to tell Todoroki that I wasn't at the library anymore, but I'm sure he was busy. Either way, I looked up into the sky, that was fading from a purplish red hue to a shade of dark blue. It was late and I shouldn't be outside. But I'd feel bad if I declined, so I had to. It was just a friend, too. No harm in that.
