Thalia Rodgriguez

Thea's back is rigid and she keeps her eyes locked on her empty plate. She stands to take her and Noah's plates to the kitchen. Victor startles everyone at the table by slamming his fist down onto the table, "No one stands from this table until I have finished eating!" Thea glances at his empty plate and gulps down her objection to such rude behavior.

Jess clears her throat, "But, dear, you've put your knife and fork together. That signifies that you've finished eating." A growl erupts from deep within his throat, "I decide when I'm finished eating! Not some filthy Greek." Thalia's anger flares and she jumps up. Her face is a mere few inches from his face and his disgusting bourbon breath washes over her, "You call my people filthy again and we'll see how long you can talk at all."

Menace drips from her voice and he gulps rather loudly. False bravado covers his face like a mask and he smirks at her, "What are you gonna do, little girl?" Within the blink of an eye, she has a fork poised above his crotch and her head is directly next to his, "Go ahead and say it then." Victor startles but stays frozen in place in fear of losing something quite valuable to him.

Thalia smirks a menacing smile, "That's what I thought." She lowers herself back into her chair and puts her fork back onto her plate next to her knife. Seah turns to face Vick with a deliberately sweet smile, "So, what are we having for pudding?" Vick quickly closes his gaping mouth and stands up without glancing at his father, "I'll get- help Yvette get her dessert out." He practically yanks Yvette out of her seat and drags her to the kitchen.

Thalia watches Victor closely and notes that he seems to have sobered up somewhat. His one eye still blinks a bit slower than the other but overall he does not seem to be completely wasted.

Thalia hugs Vick last and whispers so only he can hear, "The food was incredible. I feel I can not teach you anymore. You seem to no longer need me." Vick whispers a faint thanks and they pull apart. "Thank you for dinner, Ms. Blake. It was nice to meet you, Yvette. I wish you all a wonderful evening."

Thea quickly greets everyone and hugs Noah tightly. Thalia walks out to the car and slips into her baby. She once again marvels in the comfort that her car provides her. Thea comes jogging down the stairs with the heels in her hands and Thalia laughs out loud, "Couldn't even make it one night, huh?" Thea blushes and turns to hug her Thalia tightly, "Thank you so much, Thals." Thalia laughs and returns her sister's hug, "It was my pleasure." Thalia eases her car into drive and they quietly make their way home, Thea falling asleep halfway there.
