CHAPTER 2: Wedding

TIME SKIP: After at the wedding at the reception

I was again lost in my thoughts and was playing with my food when dad approached me giving a glare

"Mr. Kim! This is my daughter Yerin!" he said introducing me to a middle age man, what now?

I just stared at him and suddenly I felt someone pinched me by the arm sneakily, I looked over to who did this and it was dad, he was glaring at as if he will kill me if I won't stand up

So being scared of him I stood up awkwardly "Uh, well I am Hwang Yerin his daughter, pleasure to meet you?" I said before giving him a uncomfortable smile.

This is so weird and uncomfortable that the silence is killing me; I take a seat back at the chair I was seating at a while ago, and look down. I hate my father for this he knew that I am awakward to people, I mean he already introduced me why do I need to introduce myself again, this is so uncomfortable.

I was currently busy with my thoughts when the so called Mr. Kim snickered, and grabs our attention

"Looks like Yerin here is uncomfortable with me being here and so as the crowd, let me see hates the color red huh? I can see you struggle with your dress too, well before you suffer more I'll go now, enjoy this day for your father okay? I'll see you later, or maybe the day after that" he said and I was shock, did he read my mind?

Wait what am I thinking, there's no way a human can read minds that is ridiculous.

"Humans indeed" he said before leaving while laughing to himself leaving me surprised, I look over to dad but he looks like everything was normal

"Who is that?" I ask him

"That is my boss and you are so rude" he said digging deep holes to my soul just by looking at me

"But you know I am awkward with peoples arou-"

"Stop with those fuckining excuses Yerin, this is the last" he said and I was confused

"What do you mean?" I ask him

"Shut up and don't ruin this day for me and your step mom" he said before leaving but I followed him

"Hey dad!" I called out as we pass through tons of people

"Dad" I called out again but he didn't turn around making me bump to plenty of people around

"I said dad look at me!" I yelled at him and everyone look at us, even the music stopped

I look at him before looking around, all of them are focused to us, ahh I want to hide this is getting me embarrass.

I turn back to look at dad and he was indeed angry, he grasp and took a hold of my arms harshly before dragging me out of the reception. I saw that Mr. Kim again and he looked worried, I don't know exactly why but I knew he knew I am confused. I just don't know how

Once we were out he let my arms go angrily

"What did I told you!" he yells at my face

"I just want to ask questions, but you never look my way!" I explained and he sighs frustrated

"Go on ask then!" he yelled and I gather all my courage to ask him all the questions that are running around my head

"How did you met, mom?" I asked and he folded his hands to form a fist

"I told you a hundred time that I won't answer that because I forgo-"

"Not my mom, my mom who you just married just now" I asked and he was taken a back

"What do you mean how I met her?" he asked as if he was trying to avoid this question for his whole life

"I met her just yesterday, I never notice her going to our home, and you always go to work and went home back from work, how come you married her today?" I asked him and he looked away

"It's nothing" he said about to leave again but I take a hold of his hands which he shrug of immediately

"What now!?" he asked going back to where he was standing

"Who is that guy and why is he weird?" I asked and he mess with his hair

"I told you he was my boss!"

"Then why does it seems like he can read my mind and he looks worried a while ago?!" I yelled

"He is not a mind reader and watch your mouth young lady!" he said raising his hands in the air so I take cover but then once he recognize where he is he placed it down immediately and I looked at him scared

"I don't know how I put up with you all this time, you are such a pain in the ass Hwang Yerin" he said and it totally hurts

"Bu-but I thought you love me" I said and he scoffed

"That was when you are a kid, and now you grew up you are unbearable! Well I don't have to worry about this anymore" he said that again, why he keeps saying it's the last and he won't be worrying about me anymore

"Go home and pack your thing immediately" he said before calling out a driver to drive me home

"Why?" I asked him worried he'll throw me off the streets

"Well head off to a new home" he answered but his back was facing me

"New home?" I asked as my worries left my body, I thought he was going to toss me out

"After this ceremony if I come back to our old house and your stuffs are still not packed I swear to god Yerin" he threatened

"I know dad" I said

"Well it's set then the driver is here go home" he said before pushing me inside the car.

His acting weird....

But since he is my father, I'll trust him...
