This one is a bit of a "wow" poem, from my own standpoint. It's... well... it's a... uh... poem. I dunno....
I was feeling inspired from listening to a bunch of TED talks on depression and emotional abuse, and somehow, my creativity translated that into a poem about stars...
Perhaps I was inspired by the fact that the sun went down at 5pm today (I'm in Germany) and the stars were out?
Or maybe I've just been reading way too many 'Rouge One' fan fictions?
Who knows??

All I know for certain is that this baby will be connected to an upcoming (eventual) story of mine called 'Despair'...

Anyway!
Enjoy and all the best storming literary castles!

"I once knew a woman
With a soul older than the universe
If you listened to her stories
You'd fall in love with the stars"
~

She called each star by name
As if they were her friends
She gestured in the darkness
As if holding them in her hands

Her voice spoke of a reverence
Her eyes spoke of a spectre
Her soul spoke of its kindred
Her heart spoke of its nectar

She kissed each star goodbye
As if she'd die before the dawn
She quietly breathed out her stardust
And named them all once more
