BEEP BEEEP BEEEEP! I was awoken by alarms blaring. I covered my ears and looked around at the massive room I was in. 'Oh yeah I'm in space' I turned to see a letter on Bex' side of the bed. "Step on the purple pressure plate in front of the bed to get your suit on quicker. I made it last night whilst you were asleep xx -Bex" I read. "Everybody up! Zarkon's attacking!" I quickly jumped out of bed and looked in front at the purple and turquoise pressure plates. I hopped onto the purple one and within 5 seconds my suit was on. I quickly grabbed my bayard and ran to the control room. "The Castle's about to be destroyed! Go, go, go! We need Voltron now!" I ran into the room to see absolutely no Galra in sight. Then I saw my sister in the corner making some night vision goggles? She looked up and put her finger over her lips indicating for me not to say anything then her eyes trailed to Allura and Coran.
"Hurry! We can't survive much longer!" Allura shouted "You've got to be more dramatic, Princess." I told her walking up to them. "Yeah like this. OH,NO! ALLURA IS DEAD! AAAAAW, IT'S HORRIBLE! HER HEAD FELL OFF! WAIT! WHAT? HER SEVERED HEAD IS TRYING TO SPEAK TO ME! What is it, Allura's head? What are your final words?" Coran screamed 'That's too dramatic.' I turned to see Keith, Shiro, Pidge and Hunk by my sides. "What's happening?" Pidge whispered to me. I shrugged enjoying the show. "Coran." Allura said noticing the others as well. "Oh, yes, Princess, I'm listening. It's over. Oh, I know! AGHHHHH! If only Voltron has been formed. Oh! TIME!" He cried finally noticing the team. "I guess this isn't an actual attack." Shiro questioned as I leaned into Hunk almost falling back asleep with his soft tummy. "And it's a good thing it wasn't because it took you... Coran?" "Seventy-five degrees. Oh, sorry. No, this is a meat thermometer." The orange haired Altean responded.
"However long it was, it took too long. The only person that was here in time was Y/N! You must be ready to do battle with Zarkon. Look at you! Shiro and Y/N are the only people in uniform and Y/N has her bayard as well. Keith, Pidge, Hunk, where are your bayards? And where's Lance?" She called out. As if on cue the Cuban boy came into the room with little blue lion slippers and a robe with glowing liquid on his face. 'Does he even know what's in that cup?' "Good morning, everybody. What going on?" He yawned. "Coran, Bex and I have been up for hours getting the Castle back in order." Allura started but Bex cut her off as they came over to us "4 hours and 24 minutes exactly." "Yes, thank you, Bex. Anyway, we had to run a test on the alarms, and we decided to test you as well. Guess which one failed." Allura glared at Lance. I started to tune everything out and fall asleep leaning on Hunk.

"Y/N!" My sister called out waking me from my slumber. "Hmmm?" I questioned rubbing my tired eyes. "Don't think you can just doze off Y/N. Whilst the paladins are trying to form Voltron you will be training with the Gladiator!" Allura told me as I removed myself from Hunk to let him go to his lion. "Follow me please." Coran announced guiding me to the training room as we left Allura and Bex to help the team. "Woah this room is massive!" I smiled running around the room. "I hope it's to your liking as you're going to spend a lot of your time in here." Coran replied. "I will start the Gladiator at level one and it will go up until you are defeated." Coran told me as he walked out the room. A tall gold and white robot dropped in front of me. I readied my bayard and got ready to fight.
