Y/N POV

"We'll be arriving at the Balmera soon. Liberating these Balmerans from Zarkon's grasp will not be easy." Allura told us as we were approaching the Balmera. "So, what's the plan? We go in there and just...POW, POW, POW! And free the prisoners?" Lance asked making weird finger guns making me burst out laughing. "What was that?!" I laughed "Laser guns." Lance replied smoothly. "No, Lance, I think you mean... PCHOW, PCHOW, PCHOW, PCHOW....Shhhhhhhh. Pow!" Hunk told him making amazing machine noises.

"That sounds like fireworks." Lance judged "No, that sounds like a laser canon or something." Bex told him chuckling a bit too. "Technically, they're more like...BA-CHOO, BA-CHOO, BA-CHOO!" Pidge told them with a tiny finger gun. I was still laughing at everyone as my sister spoke up "Nah, they're like...KACHOW, KACHOW, KACHOW!" And I laughed even more "THAT'S WHAT LIGHTNING MCQUEEN SAYS!" I shouted at her with tears in my eyes from laughing so hard.

"Okay, enough with the bad sound effects. Besides it's more like... BLAM, BLAM, BLAM!" Shiro demonstrated getting down on one knee. "What?!" "You're crazy." "No way." "Wrong." "Totally not." Everyone argued and I just stood there with stars in my eyes "Yassss, Queen!" I praised Shiro making him smirk. "Paladins, focus." Allura finally stopped us. "Besides, we can't just shot at the Galra. This Balmera, it's, like, alive. And from what we've seen, it doesn't look very good." Hunk told us and I looked down a bit 'Poor thing.' "Yes, it's an atrocity what the Galra have been doing to this grand beast. Stealing it's crystals, it's very life force, without ever preforming the energy rejuvenation ceremonies to heal it." Coran added.

"After seeing Shay's people enslaved, it made me realise how bad Zarkon really is." Hunk started but at the mention of Zarkon my head hurt and I closed my eyes "Mummy, I'm scared." I heard and opened my eyes and saw Keith glancing over at me with a slightly worried expression so I smiled to tell him I was fine. 'What was that? Was it a memory?' "Wait, I know. If we attack all of this big mining stuff on the surface, the Galra troops will have to come out and defend it. Then we beat them up, with Y/N and Bex taking care of the ones on the ground, head down to the tunnels, Voltron saves the day." Hunk explained as I started to pay attention again.

"But how will we know how many are left down in the tunnels?" Keith asked with his arms folded. "We can track the Galra and the Balmerans using Biothermal Life Indicator Point Technology with a device I made the other day." Bex spoke and I tilted my head confused at the words she was saying. "Oh, BLIP tech!" Pidge added observing the hologram and adjusting her glasses. "Exactly!" Bex replied with her finger up and a glint in her glasses. "One of you will need to fly around the Balmera and drop sensors into the shafts on each side. Then we'll be able to see where the Galra and the Balmerans are. There are already sensors built into your suits." Allura told us and Bex nodded in agreement.

"I can do it. I just modified the green lion with the invisible maze's cloaking ability. I should be able to fly around unnoticed." Pidge volunteered "So, you're lion can turn invisible? That's so cool!" I squealed putting both my hands on her shoulders and standing behind her. "That's their main power generator. If you take that down it will severely weaken their defences." Coran told us as a giant tower thing was shown on screen 'If me and Bex could use our glowy power things then I'm sure we could take it down easily. Only problem is that we don't know how to or if our powers are dangerous or not.' I thought with my hand on my chin. "Y/N you fly with Hunk and Bex you fly with Pidge in case we need to drop you down to the ground." Shiro told me and I nodded.

TIME SKIP

"We've located a hangar full of Galra fighters just below the surface. Someone has to take those out before they can launch." Allura told us through the coms "They're luring us down, but we have no choice." Shiro spoke up. "I'll go down to the hangars with Bex. We can take them out with our bayards." I told him still in the yellow lion. "No. Both of you stay with Hunk and Pidge there's too many for you to fight by yourselves and we need you both incase someone faces fighters by themselves." Allura ordered us.
