                          A wedding day 
the bells chiming 
a way to close the year 
                          tears brim my eyes 
happy for the newlyweds 
rather nostalgic 
taking me back to mine 

                          many years I wish 
and let none separate them 
till death do them part 
                          smiling wide as I write 
and watching the newlyweds 
CG and the sheriff too 
fingers crossed for them all
