    30: Life wasnt out to get me

    Why is a question 
    I ask quite regularly 
    
                          
    Why me? 
    Why i do to endure
    such pain
    such a past 
    
                          
    I know now
    life wasn't out to
    get me but rather to teach me 
    showing me the better things 
    in this life 
    but first I gotta get through 
    the dark before I can see the light 
    
                          
    The dark I'm overcoming
    completing this test 
    taking longer to realize such a feat 
    
                          
    Such a feat that life 
    wasn't after me 
    why did I think so such? 
    Cause my soul was in tatters 
    and my heart was in shatters? 
    Perhaps but I could not
    answer 
    
                          
    All I know now 
    is that I'm learning 
    and I'm slowing crawling back 
    up to the surface
