After giving Rye my address the ride was pretty smooth, both of us hadn't said a word since we left school and honestly I wasn't bothered; even if one of would speak I doubt we had anything logical to say. I fidgeted with my fingers while my head was focused on my lap - rarely listening to the soft music playing in the background. Rye occasionally stopping at a red light as he sighed; sometimes even glancing at me, but I didn't dare to look back.

"We're here." Rye said taking the key out the ignition, I reached over to grab my bookbag before exiting the car. I was worried if my mum was here because I really didn't want to see her face today.

Walking up to the door where I quickly unlocked it - letting Rye enter first. "Cool place..." He complimented, I only shrugged; I'm surprised the walls were still attached - it's been weeks or probably months since it's been properly cleaned.

"It's nothing. Come on my room is upstairs,"

The handsome brunette followed me up the stairs, down the hall until we made to my room; I closed the door behind him as he plopped on my bed.

"Comfy." He sighed with relief, spreading his legs and arms across the sheets with a very dramatic cry. I scoffed. "Enough have an orgasm over my bed and figure out what we're gonna say next about the assignment."

Rye sat up while rolling his eyes, I felt him watch me bend down to retrieve my notebook. "Forgot that..." He mumbled. I'm now slowly regretting allowing him to come over here; I knew he wasn't gonna give a shit about the project.

"Holy crap! You have a guitar?!"

I turned my head to see the instrument I haven't played in almost a year, after my mum got bat-shit crazy over my dad's absent I completely lost interest because I remember playing a few songs for her when I was just 15, she always said how talented I was...well that was the past; now she tells me it sounds like a dying cat when I play it at night sometimes. If only she knew...

"Yeah.." I replied scratching the back of my neck, hoping he wasn't gonna ask me to play anything for him.

Seeing Rye pick it up from the dusty corner; whipping it off with his sleeve, "Do you mind?" Handing the instrument to me I eyed it with caution before gazing at him with plea.

"Just one song."

.
