Chapter 4: Another Me, Another You

I was watching TV about a drama reacting 'real' stories which are maybe a few are actually real when suddenly my phone had rang. I grumbles and stood up from my sofa, reaching for my phone to see who's calling me, hoping it's an important call or else whoever's calling me is going to have a big problem with me.

"Kamado-kun?"

I mutters quietly when I saw who was calling me. I wonder why he's calling me. It's literally 9 PM. I thought about some possibilities but decided to just ask the real answer by answering the call.

"Hello. Kamado-kun? What's up, calling me in this hour?"

"Ah that.. Well. Uhm."

"What is it? Hurry up, I'm watching TV right now. Although it's currently just some random advertisements."

"Huh? Oh, is that so.. Then, sorry to bother you. I'll talk to you later."

Clack! ....Beep ..beep.. beep ..beep ..beep...

Huh?

H U H ? ?

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?! ARE YOU TREATING ME LIKE A FOOL?!?"

"Don't shout at night!"

"Ah, sorry grandpa!!"

I immediately closed my mouth and slid my phone inside one of my shorts' pocket. Looking dejected, I went back to seat on my sofa. Kaigaku who was on the ground, reading a manga snickered. "Idiot," he mocked. I only stared at him with annoyance and sighs. I'm tired. The reason was due to Nezuko-chan. I saw her talking with someone happily and laughing. She never did that to me, though she did smiled sometimes.

Hhhhh. Should I give up on her? But then who will I marry~?? I'm already on high school. And yet I'm still a virgin and hasn't once dated a girl or found someone who likes me. Is it because of my personality? Because I'm a coward? Yeah, that makes sense. No one would want a coward like me.

Argh, I should stop on the depressing thoughts. Stop it, stop it. Think happy thoughts.. Think happy thoughts..

I wonder why Kamado-kun called me? He never calls me that late. That was also the first time he called out to me. Hmmm, could it be urgent? His voice did sound a bit displeased and confused. Ah! CouLD something have happened to Nezuko-chan?!?!

I immediately turned off the TV and go to my room in a hurry. I grab my black jacket and go to the front door. I squat down and put on my shoes, "I'm going outside for a moment, grandpa!" Before grandpa can scold me, I already had opened the door and went running to Kamado-kun's house.

Thankfully his house was unexpectedly close. I always visits his home sometimes after school with the target of spending time together with Nezuko-chan. Though Nezuko-chan ends up going to her room after 10 minutes, leaving me together with Kamado-kun. Sometimes I play with his family too. His mother has a sound similar to Kamado-kun! It was a very lovely and pleasant sound.

After just more than 10 minutes of running, I had arrived. I squat down for a moment to catch my breath. After feeling like I have regained enough stamina, I rang the bell and wait for someone to answer. "Yes? Ah, Zenitsu nii-san!" I smiled gently at the one who opens the door while slightly tip-toeing, "Hello, Takeo. Is Kamado-kun and Nezuko-chan alri— Wait, no. I meant, Is Kamado-kun and Nezuko-chan there?"

"Nii-chan and Nee-chan? Uhm, Nee-chan is inside. She's playing with the others right now in her room."

"Ahh, is that so? That's a relief." I sighs and my face lit up. I'm glad Nezuko-chan is fine. But there's this weird feeling I'm getting. And Takeo's sound was a bit unusual. That's when it struck me.
