Deleted Scenarios: Ch 7-8, 11-12

Chapter 7

". . .Agatsuma-san, do you think we should be keeping this a secret between us?"

"This?"

"About Tanjiro and Zenitsu."

"Oh, I'm honestly not sure. But is there anyone we can tell about them to besides us?"

"Hmm. . . Do you think it's alright to tell your family?"

"Grandpa and Kaigaku-nii. . ."

I stared down at my feet as I ponder about it. Maybe it's okay to tell grandpa. But Kaigaku-nii. . .

"B-But this time! I didn't lie to you. Seriously."

"What if you did lie?"

"Huh? Oh, uh. I-I'll swallow a thousand— wait no, I'll swallow a hundred needles!!"

". . .Alright. I better buy a hundred needles then."

I immediately remembered my consequences if I was found lying and went pale. Kamado-kun who noticed my face going pale got worried and asked out of concern.

"Agatsuma-san? What's wrong?"

"N-Nothing! Nothing at all. On second thought, let's not tell grandpa and Kaigaku-nii."

"Why not?"

"Uhhh, just not them! I can't tell them!!"

"I don't know what got into you but I'll trust you then. Do you think telling our friends is alright?"

I close my eyes and put a hand on my chin as I try to imagine a scenario inside my head of us telling our friends about our other selves. After frowning about it for quite a while, I come to a conclusion and went on to tell Kamado-kun my answer.

"Well. . . If it's those guys like Inosuke-kun, Nezuko-chan, Tsuyuri-chan, and others — They should be alright. Although let's not tell too many people about it just to be safe. I really don't want to make a fuss about it and invite even more danger to our lives."

"Danger?"

"Yeah! I mean, they're from another world, you know. This is a horrifying world. Some people won't keep quiet and would definitely seek and take them away. Ah but, they do have katanas and seem like those samurai so they may be alright."

"Ah, that's true."

"Speaking of Nezuko-chan though, what're your thoughts on telling your family?"

"My family. . . To be honest, I'm not sure I can tell them either. I don't know why but I feel scared of telling them."

"Kamado-kun. . . I-I'm sure it'll be alright! You should take your time thinking about it. Since they're your family, I'm sure they'll believe you."

". . .You're right. Let's talk about this together with Tanjiro and Zenitsu after school."

Seeing Kamado-kun back to smiling, I feel relief and smile back at him. I nod as I agree with him. We began to be able to see the cafe and we walk faster.

Chapter 8

But instead, he shouted again, "No! No way, no way. If we tell Inosuke, he'll definitely tell everyone immediately."

Kamado felt a little down but he tries to convince Agatsuma, "Don't worry. I'm sure Inosuke can keep it a secret."

"No. Kamado-kun, sorry but. Based on past experiences, he always managed to reveal my secrets whether it was accidentally or not. That's why I decided to not trust him anymore. I mean, I still trust him. But not with secrets."

Kamado stared at Agatsuma for a few moments. His mouth opened as if he was about to say something but he closes it quickly and gazes away. "Yeah..."

[A/N] I didnt like that I made Agatsuma so strongly distrust Inosuke, so I scrapped it (lol)

Chapter 11

Originally, Zenitsu was supposed to show up and talk to Giyuu and Shinobu alongside Tanjiro, giving Giyuu an opportunity to use your usual Kimetsu Academy joke, "DYE YOUR HAIR BLACK!!" dun dunn

But it's too soon for Zenitsu's yellow hair to be revealed to the world.

Shinobu also holds Zenitsu's hands, trying to turn the topic over to them (why they came to the far waterpark), explain very briefly then just leave, which made Tanjiro jealous, slightly pouting because Zenitsu was so red and (in his mind) happy. Good thing I made this deleted scenarios to share this because it was so cute in my head 🫠

Chapter 12

"So he's a con artist?!"

Now that they know that, the question left is why is Shinobu fighting with that guy?

Shinobu reached her limit and raises her hand. In the corner of her eyes, she spots the trio.

"What the.. It's you guys again?"

Inosuke points at the cafe in front of them awkwardly.

"That's my mom's cafe.."

"Oh."
