Note: Backstory (Supernatural + Avengers + DC)

Hello again my lovelies! I don't want to waste any time so I'll just jump right into the backstory for you.

Picking up where the Merlin backstory left off, the immortal family traveled to the United States and were there when the American broke free from Britain control. They didn't care about it really, just happy to have a place where they could start over. When they arrived to the United States, they went through a huge number of first and surname changes as a way to hide their identities, with their most commonly used surname being Morlonde. They also used magic to change their appearances as well. A few centuries later, Merlin's eldest daughter Maria met and befriended a man named Howard. Marilyn, or Mary as she prefers, met and fell in love with a man named John. Thomas, the youngest out of the three siblings, preferred working on getting his doctoral degree and wasn't really interested in romance but possessed a close friendship with a woman named Martha. Eventually the two sisters got married to their significant others with Thomas marrying Martha soon after. Cassandra, on the other hand, decided to stay single for the rest of her life since her cousins are married and can continue the family without her help. #SingleLife4Ever

Merlin and Morgana decided to stay out of their children's lives unless they were needed, deciding that their children were old and mature enough to make their own decisions. Merlin opened up a flower shop due to his fondness of nature while Morgana opened up a cozy little bakery cafe called "Sweet Sorcery", though she always has to put on a disguise while working to avoid suspicions. Cassandra helps out at the cafe occasionally but otherwise works as a traveling musician. Maria helps her husband with maintaining Stark Industries, while Thomas became the new CEO of Wayne Enterprises at the request of Martha's father, making him and Howard business rivals. Mary on the other hand settled down with John for a more simple lifestyle. Especially after a life of hunting down supernatural creatures that preyed on innocents.

Things were finally looking up for the family but then tragedy struck. Thomas and Martha eventually had a son by the name of Bruce, who Merlin senses has potent magic. Eight years later, both husband and wife were killed in a mugging which devastated Gotham and the Morlonde family. Bruce closed himself off from his father's family for a few months before opening up to them again, accepting their support and concern and later taking over Wayne Enterprises.

Maria gave birth to her son Anthony several months after Bruce was born and maintained a close parent-child relationship with him ever since. She would occasionally try to help Howard and Tony bond but would always fail in the end. She was eventually killed by Bucky as the Winter Soldier with her husband. Unlike his cousin Bruce, Tony refused to communicate with any of his remaining family members for a very long time, only reconnecting with them after returning from Afghanistan and becoming Iron Man.

Mary gave birth to her eldest son Dean a few years after Bruce and Tony were born. Before this came to pass, she encountered a future version of Dean but was not aware until her second meeting with future Dean. Her memories of these events were erased by Michael. Merlin wanted to intervene but Michael threatened his grandsons' lives if he tried to change the future. Merlin became heavily depressed after Mary, his last living child, dies at the hands of Azazel 6 months after Sam was born, feeling that he could have prevented his children's deaths and his grandsons could've grown up with both their parents alive. John cut off all connections to Merlin and Morgana as a result of Mary's death and trained Dean and Sam to hunt supernaturals.

Regarding the events of Supernatural, everything up to season 13 has happened. The catch is that the ending of Season 13 does not happen. Another thing to note is that Merlin and Morgana were not aware that Uther was controlling Arthur until after they've met Castiel for the first time. They were pretty horrified and upset over this new information. Gabriel survived his fight with Michael but was severely injured and fled to recover. Everyone else assumed he was dead however. Several seasons earlier, Dean and Castiel had a drunken one-night stand and the angel got pregnant as a result. Worried and scared for his and Dean's child, Cas erased Dean's memories of that night and later went to Merlin and Morgana for help. The two magic users agreed to raise their child while also making sure Dean and Sam did not know of the child's existence. When giving birth, it is revealed that Castiel was having twins instead of just one baby. The angel names them Bożydar Mieczysław Winchester and Bronimir Bronisław Winchester.

After the death of his parents, Bruce takes over Wayne Enterprises and eventually became the "Prince of Gotham" while also being the hero vigilante Batman in secret. He still maintains a close relationship with his father's side of the family as well as accepting his grandfather's offer to improve his magic. He is aware of the supernatural but pretends that they do not exist for his family's sake. Bruce is also the only family member that Tony remains in touch with due to being business partners though Tony strictly keeps interactions professional. When Tony decided to reconnect with his estranged family members, Bruce was the first one to accept him wholeheartedly.

Tony refused to acknowledge and train his magic when he found out about it, due to lingering pain over his mother's death. He also thinks that it is 'too convenient', preferring to do things through hard work. He can levitate objects and briefly create small forcefields but nothing too special because he neglects to train his magic. It wasn't until Afghanistan where he decides to embrace the magic he inherited from his mother and used it create his very first suit. Afterwards, he shut down weapon manufacturing and also went to his grandfather and great-aunt to ask for help with controlling his magic. Obviously they said yes. It was around this time that he confronted and, with help from his mother's cousin Cassandra, killed Obadiah and was scouted for the Avengers Initiative.

Dean and Sam were still hunting but now they only hunt creatures that target innocent lives rather than every supernatural creature they come across. Jack is also traveling with them, mostly because he feels more in control with them but also because Dean practically adopted the Nephilim by this point. The two Winchesters are completely unaware of their mother's family, only knowing what their grandfather's name is and that they had two cousins that were extremely well-known and rich. Castiel was the only one, aside from the other angels, to know who Merlin really was but decided to keep it a secret at Merlin's request to keep Dean and Sam safe. Neither of the Winchesters know about the twins even to present day.

Aaaand done! This one actually took a little longer. Most likely because I was doing the next generation lol. Obviously there are a bunch of changes to the stories but there are some changes I forgot to include. I apologize for that and I'll tell you guys about them now.

First off is that John Winchester's father is still a member of the Men of Letters but his mother Millie is a retired hunter instead of working as a bed and breakfast owner (in case you're wondering, I got this info from the wiki). They know about Mary being the daughter of Merlin but promised to keep it a secret from John if she kept their secrets as well. Henry still gets killed by Abaddon while Millie's fate is left unknown just like in the canon. Merlin and Morgana were aware of Mary being a hunter but they weren't too worried since she swore to only hunt supernatural creatures that tried to harm innocent people. Also Jack is soulless.

Next off is that after Maria died, her spirit lingered and was actually there when Tony was taken captive. She encouraged Tony to accept his magic and to seek out his grandfather for guidance, though Tony didn't know that it was her. After her son reconnected with his other family members, Maria finally passed on. Cassandra was there in Manhattan during Iron Man's confrontation with Stane. Part of the reason was because of her occupation as a traveling musician but it was also to make sure that her cousin's only son would survive. Once things settled down, Cassandra properly introduced herself to Tony and took him to see his grandfather.

Thomas and Maria died before they could learn the truth about what happened to Arthur. Mary learned the truth after being brought back to life and was extremely happy and relieved that her father wasn't the reason the 2nd Great Purge started. At least, not willingly. Cassandra, while also relieved, still blamed her uncle for what happened as he could have tried to fight back against Uther but either didn't or failed to.

And that is the end of this backstory. The next one will be the final note (for now) and then the first chapter will truly begin. So until next time, stay determined!
