Love is Family

Note: Backstory (Teen Wolf)

Alrighty time for the last note! Let's not waste any time and get to it.

Bożydar and Bronimir spent the first 10 years being raised by their aunt Cassandra (Though she's technically their cousin once removed) and their great-grandfather and great-great aunt. They are very aware of the supernatural and are trained weekly to hone their skills with magic. They were raised in a loving environment and Merlin would often tell stories of his time in Camelot. Of course they were both excited and very smug about descending from royalty but they couldn't say that to anyone. Bożydar, the more empathetic of the twins, would always sense hints of sadness whenever Merlin or Morgana tell them stories about their adventure but would not ask anything out of respect of their privacy. Growing up, Bronimir was the more athletic twin while Bożydar was the more intellectual twin but that doesn't mean they're weak in the other twin's strength. Bronimir can solve pre-calculus problems with ease while Bożydar could go 30 minutes of running with only 1 breath.

Bożydar, or Stiles as he will be called in the future, and his twin would always compete to see who would do things better from cooking to music to art. This results in the house always being a mess. One day it would be food, the next day it'll be paint, glue, and glitter. Stiles is the older twin by 10 minutes and would always brag about it. Stiles and Bronze, as Bronimir preferred to be called, were essentially the living example of psychic twins. Always knowing what the other is thinking or feeling and acting accordingly.

They always knew that Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark were their uncles (technically first cousins once removed) since they've first seen them and are huge fans of them both. They were also one of few people to know that Bruce was Batman. Of course, the family was greatly surprised that Bruce was Batman but were even more surprised that it only took the twins meeting him in person for the first time to figure it out. After exposing their uncle by accident, Merlin and the rest of the family supported Bruce's vigilante work nonetheless with Tony even offering to lend some of his tech. Needless to say that the twins were officially the Prince of Gotham's favorite family members as a result.

Whenever there's a family gathering, Bruce and Tony would spoil Stiles and Bronze with gifts. Usually it would be toys or books though Tony built them a robot dog (a K-9 lol) for their 9th birthday and started gifting them his inventions. Let's just say he was banned from building them presents after a pranking mishap. Stiles would always help Morgana with the house and occasionally the cafe while Bronze was more interested in trying to get his uncle Tony to teach him how to build stuff. Still haven't succeeded.

The twins would often ask about their parents but didn't find out the truth until their 10th birthday. The only thing that they knew was that they were both male and that one of their fathers was an angel. Imagine their surprise when they found out that their dad was none other than Dean Winchester. They've heard about him and their Uncle Sam a lot considering how well-known they are in the supernatural community. Stiles is slightly afraid of them while Bronze sees them as annoying. It was also around this time that they were told that the magic they had was a hybrid of Angelic Magic and Magic of the Old Religion. As a result, their father Castiel placed a special sigil on them so that other angels wouldn't find them.

Things were going great and the family was happy but apparently the universe decided that it was time for some angst (thanks universe =~=) and soon enough things began to happen. Tony became more closed off than usual but he would still make an effort of communicating. Bruce started calling less, only leaving messages or have Albert call for him. Then some Omega werewolf broke into Merlin's house and almost killed the twins. Luckily Cassandra was there before it could kill them. After some interrogation, they learned that the werewolf heard rumors of a very powerful magic user and, if killed, the person who killed the magic user would gain unimaginable power. After several more attacks from ogres, witches, and numerous other supernatural beings, the family decided that it was no longer safe, and Merlin and Morgana decided to split up the twins. The two of them were against it but reluctantly agreed after some convincing.

Merlin took Stiles and they headed from their home in New York City to Beacon Hills in California. Morgana and Cassandra took Bronze and went somewhere much farther. London in England to be precise. Despite the distance, the two halves of the Morlonde family still keep in touch via phones and social media. The twins still have their little competitions and it always ends in a mess on both ends. Bruce and Tony were both informed of the whole fiasco and agreed to look into the rumors and hopefully find a solution.

With Merlin and Stiles, they had the displeasure of meeting the Hale Pack. Due to bad experiences with werewolves in the past, Stiles was justifiably hostile at first before Merlin dispelled the situation. After explaining to them about their problem, Talia agreed to let them stay on the condition that they would be monitored by the Hale Pack as well as help them when they were in need of the help. After settling in, Merlin disguised himself as John Stilinski and applied for a job as a Deputy. As per the agreement, Stiles was monitored by Cora Hale when he started school. Though initially hostile, the two eventually grew to be close friends. Stiles also got on good terms with Laura and Richard, Talia's husband, but the rest of the Hales were much more cautious around the two warlocks.

It was also around this time that Stiles found himself enamored by Derek Hale. Of course he kept these feelings to himself since Derek had a girlfriend so he clearly wasn't gay and wouldn't be into a brat like him if he was even bi. The Hale fire happens like in canon, happening four months after Stiles and Merlin arrived at Beacon Hills. The difference is that Merlin was the one who saved Cora when the fire started and sent her to the pack in Mexico. Laura and Derek leave Beacon Hills, with the younger Hale blaming himself for being fooled by Kate and Merlin for not stopping the fire. Merlin was unable to save the other Hales because something was blocking him from teleporting to Beacon Hills after he managed to bring Cora to safety.

Meanwhile in London, Bronze was very anxious and fidgety without his brother with him and would avoid social interaction with people at school. As a result, he's considered a freak by the students. The only people he's on good terms with were the staff. Morgana also opened up a London Branch of "Sweet Sorcery" which Bronze helps out with after school. This went on for the next few years. One day while walking home from school, he took a shortcut through a nearby forest and was attacked by trolls. He was having trouble fending them off when a dragon of all things came to his rescue. He later returned home with the dragon following closely behind and hiding from the public. Morgana and Cassandra were both shocked when they saw the beast before explaining how Bronze was a Dragonlord, something he inherited from Merlin. After this, he adopted the dragon and named her Karmazinow, or Karma for short. Life became much simpler again for the Morlonde family but very soon, they're all about to get a major awakening.

And with that, the backstory for this fanfic is finished! I am sorry if I might have left out any information I neglected to mention but I at least hope that this will suffice. I'll try and post a new chapter every Sunday so bare with me. The first true chapter will begin soon so until next time, stay determined!
