Ruby's POV

I jumped on my bed after talking to Yang. I took a glimpse of Y/n. He was sleeping like a baby. I looked back and lied down on my bed looking at the ceiling. Allowing my mind to wander in all places. But they were mostly at the thought of Y/n. I've liked him since a month ago. Not really when we first met, but after we become best friends. He had a bubbly personality that was slightly like mine. He was strong and talented. Hes also a hard worker. I looked back at him.

Ruby: (Chuckle) "Maybe too hard."

I looked back the the ceiling. I knew I overthink alot but this was natural. I've had crushes before but Y/n was different.

Ruby: "Its probably not a good thing that I literally drugged him. (Sigh) Great going Ruby."

I mean how would I talk to him. My stomach started to get butterflies and my heart rate slightly elevated. I was becoming more nervous but I didnt want to admit it. I guess it's normal.

Ruby: "Hmm, let's do something for the moment... Gah I'm such a noob when it comes to this..."

I get up and go to the bathroom. I pulled out my perfume... Rose's of course. I apply it to the pulse points on my neck and my wrist. I smelt it and it slightly boosted my confidence. I then Got the rose from the Bathroom Plant and kept it with me. I also brushed my teeth again and put in mouthwash.

I look at myself in the mirror.

Ruby: "You can do this Ruby. You can do this."

The butterflies in my stomach mostly went away. I felt abit better. I washed my face and look again at myself.

Ruby: "You can do it."

With a determined look I grabbed my rose and Put it in my pocket. I walked out of the bathroom and sat on my bed again. Pretty much doing the same thing.

Ruby: "What do I ask first? How are you. What are you doing later tonight?"

I knew that I wasn't as good at this type of stuff as Yang Weiss or even Blake. I mean I'm two years younger. I probably wanted to ask for advice from Yang but I mean she literally forced me to do this... I can't say I'm opposed to do it it's just scary. Very scary. What if he rejects me? That's a question I never wanted to know the answer to.

I saw Y/n waking up. I gasped and looked at him. My heart was racing.

Y/n: (Sigh) That was a good nap. I don't even know when I went to sleep.

I got up and nervously went to him. My heart was beating. Pulse skyrocketed and my palms had coated itself with a thin layer of sweat.

Ruby: "Here we go"

Ruby: (Voicecrack) hEy.

I flushed a shade of red.

Ruby: "No, no, no, that was so embarrassing. What if it doesnt go-"
