A bus ride and a 20 minute walk later I find myself standing outside a sea port. There is a gate and wire fence that separates us from the pier. The time is 8 pm and guessing from the silence around it seems like the place is closed for the day. My guess is proven right when I notice the huge lock on the latch of the gate.
“This way” Niall commands before I bombard him with questions again and starts walking along the fence away from the gate.
“Niall this place is closed.. There’s nobody around” I whisper.
“Duh.. I know.. and why are you whispering?” he replies in his normal voice as he walks ahead of me.
“Because.. I’m getting a feeling that we are sneaking” I whisper again.
“Yes we are” he confirms as he stops and looks around.
“What!” I almost yell at him again.
“Can you just relax and trust me for once ?” he asks as he jumps over a step and turns to look at me.
I realize at that moment that I am here with a guy who I accidentally met just in the morning, who asked me out to a “getting acquainted” meeting apparently in the afternoon. And now I’m sneaking around with him at night at a sea port. As I stand there contemplating my gaze falls on Niall who’s smiling his pretty smile and I’m hypnotized again by it. What’s with this guy? He’s smile is so just so… I don’t even know what to say..but it feels like one just can’t say no when he gives you that single dimpled smile.
“Ok.. Fine” I finally say as I get up on the step beside him
“Awesome” he chirps as he passes through the broken fence and then holds it up for me.
“Just to let you know though… I have taken jiu-jitsu classes” I say firmly but fail miserably at doing.
“I wouldn’t even think of messing with you” Niall smirks.
“So shall we?” he says as he holds out his left hand for me to take as he lifts the broken fence like a curtain with his right hand.
“Yes we shall” I reply as I hold his outstretched hand and step beside him.
We walk past a few boats until we reach the last one. It’s a massive white cabin cruiser with the word “NOVA ODEYA” printed in big black bold letters on it.
“Veronica meet Nova Odeya” Niall exclaims from beside me as we both stand across the boat.
