Its was New Years Eve, and I was in New York with my friends, and their boyfriends' waiting for the ball to drop.

Of course I was the only one without a boyfriend but I didn't care. I liked to watch the look on people's faces of pure happiness and carelessness when the ball dropped and they got to kiss their loved ones. It was always a good feeling.

After the last performance of the night, there was about a 30 seconds till the ball dropped. Everyone was holding onto their loved ones waiting for the midnight kiss.

It was pure happiness. Every worry gone.

All my friends held on to their boyfriends and girlfriends waiting. I was so happy that the all had someone special in their lives.

I wish I had something like that.

I felt a tap of my shoulder and turned around. There was a guy behind me. He had a black hair and a scorpion tattoo on his neck. He had a lip and nose ring too. He was cute not going to lie.

"I noticed you were all alone. No boyfriend?" He asked looking around me.

"No, I'm here with my friends," I said pointing to my group of friends watching the ball. He nodded in response.

"I'm here alone to so maybe we could be eachothers midnight kiss?" I was shocked by his question.

"We don't know each other," I pointed out.

"Well maybe after this we could hang out," He shrugged.

"Okay..." I said questionable.

He pulled me in for a kiss as the ball dropped. After a few seconds I pulled away still not sure.

He put out a hand, "I'm Frank."

"(Y/N)." I said grabbing his hand.

What I didn't know that day was that later I would marry him and have kids. He was the love of my life.
