The Demon's Mate [Meliodas]

Y/N's P.O.V

I've been in the castle for the past few days and I soon began to settle in, I feel safe in my room and Meliodas's than anywhere else. I only leave my room with Meliodas and no one else, it seems to be getting on his nerves but he never acts on it... Well... Not yet.

I'm sat on my couch curled up under a black fluffy blanket, reading on of the book on enchanting objects. There's a knock at my bedroom door and it opens, I recognise the scent, musky and darkness, "Meli~" I jump up and rush over, wrapping arms around his neck kissing his cheek.

"You're bored I take it?" Meliodas chuckled shutting the door behind him allowing me to hold onto him as he walks to the couch.

"Yes I am, can I go see Adam?" I ask keeping my arms around you and allowing him to drag me easily.

"You can go whenever you want, when I am not on a mission," Meliodas tells me as he sits down.

I stand in front of him tilting my head as he takes my waist pulling me over his lap, "Can you come with me? I don't like being alone in this castle unless it's our rooms... I don't know why..." I tell him straddling his lap but keeping distance.

"You really are clueless at times," Meliodas says looking at me, "You feel safe with me and safe alone in my room, because you are mine," He leans closer brushing our noses together.

<Meliodas...> I say in the bond we haven't created yet.

"Yes, I can hear you," Meliodas says and smirks, "I do recall you calling me Meli, very cute," He whispers and kisses my cheek.

"Shut up, I thought if I said it like that, you'd do as I ask," I pout playfully at him.

"I'd listen and do anything for you," Meliodas says and looks me in the eyes, "Don't tell anyone else though," He chuckles, "Come on, let's go see Adam and Hime before you go mad through not seeing them," He wraps his arms around my waist and stands up.

I squeal and hold on wrapping my legs and arms around him tightly so I don't fall, "Meliodas?" I call out and blink looking at him.

"Hold on tight," Meliodas says and walks to my balcony that's connected to him. He releases his black wings and flies through the sky, I hold onto him tightly as he flies before landing in front of the cave.

I unwrap myself from Meliodas and look into the cave, suddenly I see Yuki and James both running up japing a little before they jump up into my arms. I kiss their heads and Adam runs u[ with Hime, before going on to their back legs pushing me down, the four of them keep close either nuzzling their faces into me or holding me down. 

I giggle and hold the four wolves close, "I've missed you so much," I wish.

<We missed you too> Adam says in the bond and looks at Meliodas, the two of them having a staredown.

"Adam, it's okay. He's..." I start.

"Her other half remember," Meliodas says and helps me up. He keeps his arms around my waist and keeps me close to him, "Adam, you want Y/N happy don't you?" He asks and Adam wags his tails, "Can I have some of your furs?" 

"His fur?" I ask looking up at him, "Why?"

"One way that stopped me got mad without you," Meliodas says and kneels down, "May I?" 

Adam lowered his head as did Hime, James and Yuki then Meliodas plucked a few pieces of their fur. Meliodas puts the furs in a little pouch then looks at me, "Explain later please," I smile at him.

"Of course," He snakes his arm around my waist pulling me closer to him, "I can't keep anything from you," He whispers. 

I look up at him and smile a little before turning back to Adam, I kneel down to look him in the eyes then I kiss his head before scratching behind his ears. 

Meliodas sighs and I look to him to see him sitting down beside me. His arms latch onto each other around my waist and he pulls me back, "Why is it after a mission I find myself relaxed with you in my arms? I don't deserve this," He says.

I look up at him and smile, "You feel relaxed as I'm your other half and you're lost without me," I giggle at my words, "You deserve everything, that I can give you," I whisper looking him in the eyes.

"I don't deserve anything, I'm nothing but heartless," Meliodas says.

I curl up in his arms as the demon wolves curl up together, "If you were heartless you wouldn't be here now would you?" I ask with a playful smirk.

Meliodas looks at me and shakes his head, "You know what mean Y/N, I have no emotions but is you... I'm overcome with the feeling of... I don't know... But it's something," Meliodas says before looking up at the darkness of the day.

I lean into him and look up at the sky, "I know..." I whisper then close my eyes, "Shall we go back?" I ask.

"If you want," Meliodas says standing up picking me up bridal style.

Adam growls a little looking at me, "I'll be back I promise," I smile at him and scratch behind his ear as Meliodas releases his black wings taking us back to my room.

"I must ask, how have you been resting?" Meliodas asks looking at me as she flies.

"Better when you're next door, not so good when you're away," I tell him then look at the castle drawing closer and closer.

"That's like a confession of love," Meliodas jokes with a smirk.

"Of course not," I look away making sure my face is hidden from him, "Stupid Meliodas," I mumble under my breath as he lands in my room putting me on the bed.

"I'll be back soon," He says and walks into his room shutting the door behind him. 

I lay down on my bed looking up at the dark patterns and smile before going to my bookshelf. I pull out my book on demon mages and animals, I walk back reading and mumbling the word. Unaware of the bedroom door opening and someone walking to my bed. I feel a hand on my shoulder, I screech and a barrier wall pushes out of my body forcing the being away from me.

"Fuck!" I hear Meliodas curse as he crashes into the wall. I gasp and rush to him, the wall disappearing and I kneel down, "What was that for?"

"You were so quiet, I'm so sorry," I say and kiss his forehead leaning back, "I didn't mean to."

"A little jumpy I see when I'm not around then," Meliodas says getting up and helps me up, "It's okay."

I look up at him as he looks at me, both of us stare at each other in silence. Meliodas slowly leans down slowly, our nose brush against each other before he presses his lips against my own. Our lips move in sync together, his arms wrap around my waist as my arms wrap around his shoulders.
