Fury gathered Tony, Steve, and I back into the briefing room everyone there has a look as if in a daze. A look of numb shock is shown on their devastated faces. Of course we did, of course I did. Loki was right every bad thing I just blame on my powers.
And look they just got another person dead, there's so much blood on my hands. Other might not see it, but my hands are dripping, gushing with the crimson that flows through our bodies.
"These were in Phil Coulson's jacket. Guess he never did get you to sign them." says Fury as he throws Coulson's Captain America trading cards on the table towards Steve. Steve picks them up, stained with blood.
"We're dead in the air up here. Our communications, location of the cube, Banner, Thor. I got nothing for you. Lost my one good eye. Maybe I had that coming. Yes, we were going to build an arsenal with the Tesseract." admits Fury, I look up at this "I never put all my chips on that number though, because I was playing something even riskier. There was an idea, Stark knows this, called THE AVENGERS INITIATIVE. The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people, see if they could become something more. See if they could work together when we needed them to, to fight the battles that we never could. Phil Coulson died still believing in that idea, in heroes." says Fury.
Tony gets up and walks off, I stare after him "Tony..." I start, I guess he didn't want to hear it anymore.
Fury sighs "Well, it's an old fashioned notion." I look from Fury to Steve to Tony walking out, I get up after him "Tony..."
I followed him to the empty cell container. He just standing not saying a word. Steve walks in. "Was he married?" he ask talking about Thor.
"No. There was a uh...cellist, I think." starts Tony, I nod "He fell in love."
"I'm sorry. He seemed like a good man." finishes Steve, I smile nodding to him "He was an idiot." says Tony.
"Why? For believing?"
"For taking on Loki alone."
"He wasn't alone." I say gulity "I should have-"
"You both were doing your job-" starts Steve.
"I was out of my league. I should have waited. I should have..." it was my fault nothing could change that, Steve puts a hand on my shoulder "Sometimes there isn't a way out, Illisha."
Tony begins to walk away "Right. How did that work for him?" starts Tony, don't bring him up please.
"Is this the first time you've lost a soldier?" ask Steve.
"WE ARE NOT SOLDIERS! We are not marching to Fury's fife!" says Tony putting his hands on my shoulder, why am I always in between everything! "Neither am I! He's got the same blood on his hands as Loki does." begins Steve, I look over at the wall still stranded with Coulson's blood.
Same blood on his hands as Loki dose? But S.H.E.I.L.D. dose it with out anyone knowing, Loki could have knocked out Coulson just like he knocked out others but instead he killed him. Why? Coulson worked for S.H.E.I.L.D. so did other people.
I walk over to the wall while the two men bicker

As I come back from my daze I hear Steve rambling off "Right now we've got to put that aside and get this done. Now Loki needs a power source, if we can put together a list..."
"He made it personal." I say out loud.
The two men look at me confused "That's not the point." says Tony.
"Tony, shut up, that is the point. That's Loki's point. He hit us all right where it counted. Why?" I ask "To tear us apart." guesses Steve "He had to conquer his greed, but he knows he has to take us out to win, right? That's what he wants. He wants to beat us and he wants to be seen doing it." I explain.
"He wants an audience." says Tony "Right, I caught his act at Stuttengard." says Steve, Tony nods agreeing "No! That's just a preview, this is opening night. Loki's a full-tilt diva. He wants flowers, he wants parades, he wants a monument built in the skies with his name plastered..."

Tony was fixing Iron Man, Steve, Clint, and Nat were gearing up. I was fixing my gloves, but not before Fury showed up "Your not going to stop us." I say.
he nods "Oh I know, but I'm here to show you something."
I follow him into another room, it looked like the room were Steve's suit was kept, Fury presses a button and on a mannequin is a beautiful suit.
