"i protected you"

{sirius's perspective}
i woke up to a call from who i thought was my mother.
"Sirius? wake up! please! can i come in!" yup definitely my mother, i thought instantly feeling the need to shout back, "no! f••k off!" i screamed at her. only to find out it wasn't her at all. "oh sorry to bother you but schools in an hour" it was... Alex!

"oh Alex i thought you were my mother! sorry come in" i tried to make it better. "ok" he opened the door so i could see he was still in my old track suit bottoms and tank top. "although your mother was the one to tell me to say that" he laughed. "so pure"

around a half hour later i got out of my room dressed for school and had my bag in my hand. so i ran down for my lunch, "here you go!" my mother handed Alex one too, "k bye!" i walked of to the hallway.

Alex followed me out shortly after. "you didn't say thank you, you should appreciate your mother more" he suggested, "fine" i sighed shoving my shoes on. "by the way did you know your love-blind?" Alex questioned me. "no really?" he pointed to the mirror.

it was true my eyes were black with small green hearts. "i wonder who your soulmate is?"
"how am i meant to know?" slightly panicked i blurted out, "bet it's your mom" i smirked. "no"

the rest of the walk to school was peaceful and enjoyable. i meet Emily half way, we talked for the rest of the way, Alex seeming bored so i changed the subject. "i'm love blind!" i pushes my hair out of my eyes so she could inspect. "who!"
"Alexia" it was the girl name of Alex (i know Alex is also a girl name but) which Emily picked up on. "cute!" she smiled at me like a proud mom.

"who's Alexia?" Alex questioned you, "girl in my class" i made sure to say girl clearly. "oh" he looked sad. was he jealous! i hoped so with all my life. Emily thought that too i could tell.

{Alex's perspective}
the first thing i noticed that morning were that Sirius's eyes had become love-blind, i really hoped it was me. so my little heart shattered when he said a girl in his class. i knew he could tell it bothered me.

"you know what Sirius is love-blind for Alex!" Emily announced to her friends (boys) suddenly they all lunged at me in attempt to hurt maybe kill me! what did i do!

just as one was about to land a hit Sirius stepped in. "lay off the guy he didn't do anything" he reasoned. but they proceeded to try and hit me. "stop!"

with that Sirius punched like 7 off them in a row. which only turned the focus on him. i could only wince as i watched him get beat to nothing against the ground. feeling guilty.

"what was that!" i shouted as he walked to me and dropped into my arms. "i protected you..."
"idiot!" but without realizing i had become love blind too by him in my arms how... cringe really. no!

the teachers suspended all the boys who hurt him and then let us go home. his mother would fix it! i hoped.

"what happened to my baby?!" she cried upon seeing his state. "he protected me. i told him not to but he kicked ass!" i tried to at least make him proud. "well then i'm proud but he's grounded for his safety!" she smiled stitching his eyebrow, creating a split down one. it looked cute. well sort of.

"wait your not love blind miss?"
"no but i don't mind. i was but he was taken away" she looked like she could cry talking about it. "not to pry but what happened to him?" i asked as softly and politely as i could. "Sirius's father he belongs to a rich family who arranged a marriage with me. my soulmate was in the way so i had to watch him get shot. sorry that's too much for a 14 year old" she stifled out a laugh. "no i find it interesting. i feel honored you could open up to me" i smiled.

"well you seem kind,trust worthy, intelligent and polite any girl would be lucky to have you" she complimented. "can your son?"

{sirius's perspective}
i woke up at home and not in the warm hands off Alex. although i heard him laughing down stairs. at least he's alright i did good if he's ok.

i stoop up feeling a bit of throbbing pain on my head, but i walked down stairs despite it. i needed to know who was he with. "hello son!" my mother greeted. "you have a very nice boyfriend indeed" she smirked. "wait boyfriend what" i blushed heavily. "yes Alex asked me if he could date you, i said yeah" i looked at she blushing green eyed dork. "oh ok" i was pleasantly surprised. we still had a long way to go.

"wait did you see your new look?" Alex asked finally speaking up. "that's the first thing you say to me i could of been in a comma for all i know!" i sounded angry but was just overwhelmed. "yeah just go see"

so i went and saw a few new things:
•split in my eyebrow?!
• leather jacket
•hair ties on my wrist?
• lots of stitches?

"oh wow!"
"like it i know you do! i do!" sounded a very entertaining Alex still in the kitchen. "yeah!" i tried to return his upbeat tone. don't think it worked. "what's wrong?" Alex could hear my sadness through the small cracks in my voice anyone else would call a voice crack. "what happened to those guys?"
"suspended and so are you, but to recover" i didn't want to let him go to school alone with out me to protect him. "i'll be fine alone" he's a mind reader dork. but he's my  idiot boyfriend.
