at 4:30 the bell for the end of the day rang and i dragged Emily down the long hall ways of my school to the library. "why are we here? wait you gave in! Sirius Brush gave up?!" she teased with a hint of surprise, "no i am only helping him with french" i replied, "oh" her smile faded.

"hello! i am Alex !" Alex greeted. "hi i'm Sirius and that's Emily" i looked him up and down suspiciously. i never liked meeting new people. "hi !" Emily tried to be nice sensing i was not gonna be nice to him.

"get out your books" i demanded, looking him up and down i could see he was very different from me. he wore a blue shirt jumper and some green shoes with black jeans. while i wore ripped black jeans with a black hoodie and black boots, along with some earphone sticking out of my pocket.

"ok so i need to learn for a test next week!" he shouted sounding stressed, Emily mouthed to me, 'be nice' so i had no choice while she was there. "it's ok i am sure you'll do great!" i encouraged hurting me inside. "so first we have to teach you color's?" i asked unsure. "yup! what do you need Emily?" Alex asked, "i am here to help Sirius communicate, see he is from France and can't speak English well" she lied so i could not offend him. "oh it seems ok to me?" Alex asked unsure. "still he needs me" she informed rather aggressively. 'that's my b•••h' i though with a laugh. "so"

around an 1h 30m later i got tired of teaching this wannabe, "wanna go to a café?" i asked changing to a french accent half way through, i was french but had picked english up well. "sure!" Alex beamed. once we arrived Emily rushed to a table, "get me a coca cola and noddles!" she smiled at me rushing to sit down. "oh i have forgotten money" Alex looked sad, "i can buy you something" i offered, "really?!" he looked at me brightly, "yup just say it in perfect french" i smirked, he said it almost perfect, "fine" i sighed pulling out my wallet.

"how much do i owe you?" he asked, "you want to pay me back?" i asked astonished, "yes!" "ok £2:50" i told him. "i'll bring it tomorrow!" he smiled. this boyyyy

{that night🖤}

"so you still determined that you don't need a soulmate?" Emily teased on facetime, "yes ems i am sure" i sighed frustrated that i didn't actually know. "how much was his drink actually?" she asked i am sure she is a mind reader, "£5:99" i sighed, "how did you know i lied?" "i know when you lie" she smirked, "i know everything" her smirk grew, knowing that had freaked me out.

later once i hung up i went to bed a bit happier than the night before. at least now i knew someone else without a soulmate makes me feel... less alone in the world. you know? like maybe i'm not done with this. maybe i won't be until i find my soulmate, maybe i already have and just need to know. maybe i do have a chance after all. i should start a diary!

{ dear diary:
today i found someone else without a soulmate and they seemed stupidly kind. it i don't know makes me feel happy again like i'm not alone. like i have a chance. maybe just maybe i might end up giving in.

{Alex's perspective}
Dear diary:
i meet someone today he seemed rude at first but he bought me a drink and his style is cute... he's cute. he also has no soulmate so... maybe i might just have a chance with his.
