A small gasp escaped through my lips as I looked downwards at our hands in slight awe. The feeling of his soft hands against mine being implicitly ecstatic.
"You don't need to get jealous sweetheart. You know you can keep your hand there as long as you want to," Sam smirked.
I widened my eyes abruptly realizing that it had been too long we'd been like this and I hadn't shown even the slightest bit of movement. I withdrew my hand at lightening speed causing him to instantly start laughing. "I was not jealous!" I scoffed, glaring at him through my lashes. It was clear he had only wanted to tease me and make me uncomfortable on purpose.
He didn't reply and kept watching me with a playful smirk on his lips. I looked away from his gaze after a few seconds. "Why would I be jealous from a random airhostess? I was just trying to support Abigail to be honest," I lied.
"Oh?" He raised an eyebrow at me and I nodded. "You seem to worry a lot for a girl you haven't even met yet," he smirked again. From his look, I could tell that he was just messing with me but I still turned paranoid, wondering what he was actually thinking as to why I did that.
There's no way he'd figured out my actual intentions towards him yet. "Yes that's because I am a nice person," I raised my voice to show him that I took offense at what he stated.
"Oh I'll remember that," he let out a deep chuckle. "You did manage to save me from her though, I'll admit that. I thought I was going to get assaulted with the look she was giving me."
Now it was my turn to laugh out loud at his expense. "You're welcome."
"If the little hand gesture had any more ulterior motives, feel free to talk it out with me by the way. No judging," he joked causing the teasing smirk to re-appear on his mouth as smoothly as it had went away. I rolled my eyes.
"I'll be sure to consider that offer," I muttered back in mock annoyance and he gave me one last taunting smile before finally going back to his own business.
"Ugh I think I need to piss real quick," Nathan took out his earplugs and I scrunched up my nose when I looked at his figure. His face was in the worst possible condition you could imagine.
Sauce and dirty scraps of food all over his mouth. I almost forgot he was also sitting beside us."You sure it's piss?" I asked mockingly, grimacing when he tried to lick the sauce off of his fingers.
He stopped as he suddenly considered my statement and shot me a thoughtful look. "Now that you point out-"
"Ew just move. Quick!" I shouted in absolute disgust, his expression becoming all the more disturbing now. "This is why I prefer to sit with Mia and not you asshats."
"Fucking hurry unless you want me to bless you here only!" He yelled and I jumped up from my seat, taking off the seatbelt and gesturing for a confused Sam to provide space for him to walk out quickly.
"What happened?" He demanded, taking off his earphones and watching an awkward Nathan run for his life and push past the crew and passengers to find the washrooms.
"He needed to shit," I massaged my forehead and Sam laughed in understanding, shaking his head from side to side.
Before we could both sit down on our seats, the plane surprised us by suddenly titling towards one side in a rapid movement causing us to stumble on our feet and fall briskly down on the floor. I let out a little shriek when I felt a heavy body press against mine as I tripped.
Hazel eyes locked their strong gaze on mine, the corners of his delinquent mouth slickly turning up to allow a smirk to form on itself. "Enjoying yourself?" He mused, eyeing me up and down wickedly.
