"Come on. Don't be scared. It's just water," Mia encouraged me to come closer to her with an enthusiastic expression but I shook my head in refusal.

"No, you guys have fun. I'm good here," I replied back hesitantly, pretending I didn't wanna step inside the water and turned my head to look at Andy and Nathan who were talking between themselves and Vance who was engrossed in reading a book.

I let out a sigh and turned back to glance at the other four again, who had been desperately trying to convince me to come into the ocean from the last ten minutes. Weary frowns on each of their faces.

"Giselle, there is absolutely nothing to be afraid of. The water is not deep at all where we are standing. It is seriously just touching my waist," Mia stated and I scowled at her.

"Yeah what the hell? You know we'll save you even if you drown in this," Ivan bit back an amused smile, watching me with a rather goofy expression.

"I know but...." I trailed off, looking away from their gazes for a moment.

"Just come a little bit closer, you'll like it," Aaron promised, optimistically.

I sighed again, they just wouldn't leave me alone unless I give in. I took a few uncertain steps towards the ocean, thinking that it wouldn't hurt to let myself enjoy for a while. But just as my feet made contact with the muddy wet sand, the water from an unexpected wave suddenly came crashing towards me and covered the area until my knees with itself, without allowing me the time to process anything. I gasped and immidiately stumbled back to where I was standing before.

"That's enough now," Sam spoke up warningly. "If you don't come by yourself, I will come there and bring you here myself," he crossed his arms, seeming annoyed.

"Not a good time to joke, Sam," I replied, letting out a nervous chuckle and he rolled his eyes at my easy going demeanor.

"I am not kidding," he narrowed his eyes at me with a serious expression and I gulped.

"Come on here now. Don't be scared," Mia demanded with a pleading look.

As much as I hated to admit the fact, I was slightly afraid. Water has always been something unusual that made me fear it unwillingly. Swimming as never been easy for me but I still do it because I don't want to be made fun of. The pool seemed tough enough to swim in. How would a real ocean feel like? I can't handle getting embarrassed in front of everyone again.

"No, it's boring there, I'm going to do something else," I lied and turned my back on them, beginning to walk back to the recliner chair that was waiting for me, where I didn't have to worry about my safety.

"What the fuck are you doing?!" I widened my eyes when a pair of hands suddenly grasped my waist forcefully, not giving me a chance to free myself before it was too late.

Sam ignored me and snaked his arms under my legs to pick me up bridal style in his muscular arms before boring his gaze into mine.

"Put me down now! I said I don't want to go!" I gritted my teeth angrily and tried to push his hands off of my body that he was holding ever so tightly. But it seemed nearly impossible to get out of his strong hold while he simply chuckled to himself at my struggles.

"Told you I wasn't joking," he battled a small smirk and I groaned in frustration when he started to saunter towards the water.

"Samuel Richardson, put me down now or I SWEAR I will freaking rip your head off later!" I growled at him, furiously. He laughed and shook his head, still walking like I was stating something stupid.

"NOO! HELP HELP!" I started to scream around loudly when I noticed the water beginning to cover his feet.

"Giselle, stop shouting like that! Nothing will happen to you!" Aaron yelled at me from afar, furrowing his eyebrows at how childish I was acting.
