Smile My Dear (Alastor x reader)

Well this is awkward

It had been a few days since your meeting with Ty and you hadn't talked since. Things were weird at the hotel. Since Alastor was a main part of running the hotel you had to see him constantly. Which was super uncomfortable. Every time you both crossed paths you would both just look away and not say a word. In the past, Alastor would come to the kitchen to talk to you or help you out, or just give you company, but now, when he came in, he just got what he needed, and got out as soon as possible. You hated this, you wanted things to go back as they were before.

You were in the kitchen making hot chocolate while listening  to( your favorite song) when you heard the kitchen door open. It was Charlie

"Hey" you said

"Hey can i talk to you for a second?" she asked

"Sure"

"What's going on between you and Alastor?"

You were quiet

"What do you mean?" 

"Well, I've noticed that when you two are together you seem to be avoiding each other at all costs" she said

You were still quiet

"Everything is okay" you said

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah"

She din't look convinced

"Look y/n, i know you and i aren't super close or anything, but i care about everyone here, including you, i really want to know what's bothering you and want to make sure you're okay" Charlie said

"If i tell you the truth do you promise not to get mad at me?"

"Promise"

"Okay, so about a month ago, me and Alastor went out to a bar one night. We both got very drunk and well we kind of... uh.."

"Just tell me" she said

"Well we slept with eachother......"

Charlie's looked shocked

"Oh" she said

"Yeah, so then Alastor told me that he din't remember what happened that night, so i decided to try to forget about it, well then i noticed he started acting weird around my friend Ty, so i confronted him and he told me that he did in fact remember what had happened between us, and that he couldn't stop thinking about me, then he just left me in confusion"

The room was silent

"Oh wow, i don't know what to say" said Charlie

"Yeah, so it's pretty awkward now" you said

"I don't know what to do Charlie" 

"y/n, i think Alastor is in love with you" 

"What" you said shocked

"I kind of suspected there was something going on between you two, You see, when i was working with Alastor, he wouldn't stop talking about you. He said  how great you were, and what a talented cook you were, and just would always talk about you. I also noticed that he would seem so happy when you two were together, he acted so differently with you than with anyone else." she said

You were in shock, did Alastor really have feelings for you? Was Ty wrong?

"If you want my advice, I think you should talk to him, because, and tell me if i'm wrong, but i think you have feelings for him too" 

"I, i dont-"

As you were about to say no, you realized that you couldn't lie to yourself anymore, you liked Alastor, a lot, maybe even loved him, but you weren't sure about the love part

"I do" you said

"Then go talk to him then" 

"You're right, thanks Charlie"  you said hugging her

"Anytime" she said

You got out out of the kitchen and went to find Alastor. You looked around a bit, but then realized he was in his office since you heard his humming coming from there.

"Sorry Ty and mom, i know you'll be disappointed in me, but i have to do this" you thought to yourself while opening the door. 

"Alastor, can i talk to you?" you said

"Okay" he said

"I"

"I feel the same way about you" you said

Authors note: Hey everyone, first i wanted to say thank you so much for 2k reads! This is my first fanfiction so this makes me very happy. Also sorry for taking like a week to update, i'm a person who likes to update frequently,but i had a friend that spent the holidays with me that i hadn't seen in a year, so i spent as much time as possible with her.
