"Everest!", Yi cried, running into the giant arms of the mystical creature.
"I missed you Everest. I'm so glad you're back", she said, hugging the creature as a drop of tear fell onto Everest's arm."Wait", she stopped abruptly. "You're back. You are back. Oh my- Everest! Why are you back? Why are you even here?Everest you have to- woah!", Yi stumbled back in surprise. Five small creatures, looking just like Everest, scurried out from behind him. Yetis.
"What the- Everest, are these your siblings?", Yi asked in wonder. Everest smiled, rumbling. Yi stroked one of them. This one licked her finger. Then bit her thumb.
"Ow!",Yi jerked her thumb away. "My thumb is not a chew toy or uh Yeti food",she said, rubbing her thumb against her shirt. "What do Yetis eat anyway? What else do you eat besides blueberries?",she asked curiously at the young Yeti. It looked at her with the same curiosity. "Hey! What do you think you're doing?!", she bolted towards the other younglings who were playing with the multi-colored lights and messing around with the flowers. She picked each of them up and gathered them back into her fort.
'Phew! At least my violin's safe', Yi thought.
One of the Yeti's ran towards the violin, laughed and just threw it off the roof.
'Never mind.'
Yi rushed towards the end of the roof and caught her violin before it landed fatally onto the rail below. "Phew!" She turned around and caught her bow. "Okay, sleepy time", she said to them, laying her violin further away from the younglings, just in case.
Immediately, Everest lay down and started snoring lightly, his large tongue sticking out. The other younglings curled up beside him. The one that bit her went to Everest's side and yawned. When it curled up, it hissed. "Whatcha got there? Are you hurt?", Yi went closer to the young Yeti and held out it's hand. There was a small gash at the center of it's palm.
"Hold on", she said, walking towards a crate and lift it up. She grabbed the medical supplies and treated the wound. It yelped as she bandaged it."There. Is that better?", she asked. The little one looked up at her, whimpering."Oh no. Please don't cry. Hold on", Yi quickly went to grab her violin and bow and reappeared, sliding the towels away. She started playing a soothing song. "My dad use to play for me. I played this for your brother too." The Yeti stared, then hummed along. Normally she would see plants grow or biggify. But when this Yeti hummed with her music, tiny bits of flowers as white as snow, a little bit pinkish on the inside sprouted from the curved corners of her violin, glowing a bright blue.
"Woah!", Yi cried out in amazement. "How'd you do that? " The little Yeti just yawned and curled up beside her. She chuckled and got up, carrying it while she went to lie on top of Everest. She couldn't wait to tell Jin and Peng!
Short chapter 😅. I'm kinda tired lately. So I'll try to be active a bit more. No one seems to be voting much anyway. *sad music*😂 Okay, hope you guys are still enjoying this story!
