Yi woke up to the disturbing sound of whirring. She quickly got up and slid the towel to take a peek. It was still dark out. She glanced up and saw a large long black helicopter nearing the roof. A blinding white light suddenly shone onto her face. She slid the towel back immediately, rubbing her eyes and holding her breath. Someone was looking for Everest. It definitely wasn't Mr Burnish. Looks like someone else wants Everest too. Whether it is to have proof that Yetis exist or something else, Yi was determined to protect Everest no matter what. The whirring sound passed as Yi took another quick peek at the still-dark sky, with the city lights lighting it up a little. She got out of the shack and took a pole from the rail and stood guard, making sure nothing harmful approached.

"And then score! Then this one guy lifted me up onto his shoulders and everyone cheered! It was AWESOME!", Peng yelled, dancing around.

"Yeah, yeah Peng", Yi said wearily, turning towards the pork buns and sneaked some into her bag. Peng noticed her tired face.

"You okay?"

"Oh yeah, her poodle almost bit Jin while he was trying to cut its nails and I had to give him dog treats so that he wouldn't turn the house into a rodeo."

"Oh....huh? Who's poodle?"

"Never mind Peng, see you around." Yi started to walk back to her room when Jin suddenly said," What? But we're having dinner here, remember?"

Right. She forgot. Then her eyes lit up, as if someone had given her a new violin. Not that she wanted one, her dad's the greatest out of all of them, especially the strings. "Oh wait!", she exclaimed, running into her room. Her friends gave her confused looks. She opened her bedroom window and climbed outside, upward to towards the roof. Meanwhile, Peng saw a wire moving outside the living room window. He went towards it and opened it up, noticing the wire led up to the roof. Peng ran to the staircase that led up to the same destination. "Come on Jin!", he called, his cousin with a perplexed expression as he climbed upstairs. "Eh, where did everybody go?",Nai Nai asked the living room. "And who stole my pork buns?"

"Everest no!", Yi shouted as she tried to get Everest and the younglings to release the air conditioner. "I told you that you can't play with it! Uh-here!", she said, dumping the dumplings in front of them. Everest immediately dropped the air conditioner and snarfed down the food, along with the other Yetis. Each of them gave a loud burp after finishing, though Yi had guessed which were the girls and boys. "Woah!", she cried out as Everest lifted her up and started playing with her. "Yi!", Peng opened the wooden door and cried, with Jin behind him. He saw a big ball of white gulping down his friend. He screamed. "What the- Yi!", Jin got a green wooden chair, which was rotting and held it against the intimidating thing, dialling the emergency number. "Hello? There's a giant thing eating my friend on-" "Wait guys! It's Everest!", Yi's head popped out from the white fur. The five Yeti's ran towards Peng and Jin and stuck their tongues out playfully, then ran around. "EVEEERRREESSTTTTT", Peng practically screamed as he ran towards the ball of white. Everest laughed and gave him a "noogie". Then he straightened his gray hands and connected them together like a roof. He pointed towards the young ones. "You want to take them home?",Peng asked, glancing at Jin and Yi who were trying to calm them down. Everest rumbled, then nodded.

"So here are the girls: Snowflake and Pearl. These are the boys: Albin, Silver and White", Yi was saying to Jin.

"So all the names are related to the color white?", Jin asked.

Yi shrugged,"Yeah, I mean, after all, they're all white."

"-so these are the bad guys, okay?", Peng asked the creature as he carved two guns on the floor with a irregular- shaped pebble. "And this is you and your siblings", he carved six smiling heads (one bigger) with teeth poking upwards out of each mouth. "Here's your home and this is the roof. So what happened?" Yi and Jin joined them while the others played with the flowers.

Everest looked and placed his finger on the guns, then drew an invisible line connecting to the mountain. Then to the faces and lastly the roof. "Someone was on the mountain? That means Everest must've brought his siblings back here to hide them.", Yi concluded. "There was a helicopter last night and it nearly found them!" "It's almost dark", Jin looked at the pinkish orange sky. "But what about dinner? How are we suppose to explain ---all this?", Jin gestured towards Everest and the younglings. "Jin, there were other universities you wanted to check out in Beijing and Hong Kong, right? We could go right now and later call your parents to tell them we're checking out universities!"

"What? Come on! I don't want to lie to my parents aga-"

Jin was interrupted by the blinding white light which shone onto their faces. "Everest run!", Yi yelled, she noticed her backpack and violin were about to fly off. Was the wind produced really that strong? She didn't want to find out. She ran quickly towards her violin and packed it into it's case and then her bag. "Here Everest! Protect your siblings!", Yi shoved the Yetis into Everest's arms. He looked desperately at the copter, which was nearing them by the minute. "Come on! Go Everest! Run!", the teens shouted. He didn't want to leave them behind like Mr Burnish. In the moment of frustration, Everest hoisted them up onto his shoulders and put the younglings into their arms. Then, he jumped.

"Woaaahhh Evereesstttttt", Yi screamed.

"Pleasee don't kidnappp us!", Jin cried while Peng yelled, clinging onto the hair for dear life. The little ones kept laughing, flailing their arms into the air. The Yeti jumped and dodged the tranquilizer darts that shot out from the copter. One of the darts landed on the worker's female companion as Everest jumped down and out of sight. "Dude, you darted Tanya. How's she going to go out with you now?", one of the men asked the other. "Uh......."

"How did they know where we were?", Yi wondered aloud, one hand holding onto the baby, the other onto the fur.

"When Jin called the emergency depatment, they must've located us through.....something!", Peng yelled as he nearly dropped the babies.

"I didn't know!", Jin shouted, placing the two Yetis onto his legs to prevent them from slipping.

"But through what?", Peng asked.

"The radio!", Yi cried. "Mr Burnish told us Dr Zara and his workers had used the channel on the radio to locate us!"

"Where's Mr Burnish anywaaayyyy", Jin started to say as Everest swung from building to building like a hairy white Tarzan. He landed onto a large curve and held on. "I think we lost them", Yi said, feeling a sense of déjàvu. "See that Everest? You need to jump on that boat leaving the city", Yi pointed. A sudden white light shone onto their faces. "Oh come on!", Yi cried. "When will anyone leave Everest alone", Jin whined.

"Target locked",a goon said in the copter. "Hold on", a female's voice ordered, grabbing the binoculars. She gasped. "There are children on the Yeti!"

Peng glanced at the boat, shedding his eyes from the light. "How are we going to get away?"

Jin then noticed a streak of light rising from the bottom of the building."Wait wait wait, Peng. Is it 8 o' clock?", he asked. Peng checked his wristwatch. "Yeah why?" Then both of them gasped," Time for the light show!"

Blinding multi-colored lights flashed around them. The goons and the female covered their eyes at the sudden brightness and the creature and teens escaped. Everest ran past a surprised worker and jumped onto the boat. One of his siblings fell off. "Snowflake!", Yi cried, catching the Yeti with speed before she fell into the sea.

"Okay okay. We just jumped onto the same boat and escaped from more bad guys", Jin said. "I think I'm losing my mind."

"No you're not. We're going on another adventure! Just like Mr Burnish said we would!", Peng cried excitedly, then laughed as Everest held him up by his leg and let his siblings play with him. With her backpack still safely slung on her shoulders, Yi looked silently at the city -her city- getting smaller as the boat sailed farther.

"You okay?", Jin asked, placing his hand onto her shoulder.

"Yeah....we're going on another adventure, with Everest again."

'Another adventure awaits you', Yi could almost hear her late-father say.

Thank you, Papa.

For some reason, I cried at the last part. Hope you enjoy!🌼
