I lay there under the night sky.
Today for a change,
My mind is silent.
There is no demons
Screaming for bloody tears
As the little Angel in me
Called out for me
Asking me to catch and twirl with her.
She started to run giggling
As I chased her..
That musical laughter echoing around
She is standing there clapping hands,
With her two teeth smile,
Excited about the coke tin.
As I try to reach for her
She runs screaming "Catch me"
She is there dressed as an old lady,
Holding a medal with a missing
Tooth smile.
I laugh trying to catch her..
She is there dancing in stage
Nervous yet smiling
I shake my head trying to touch her,
She is there dancing with my father
Laughing loud
I stand in awestruck..
I see her jumping with friends in rain
Eating ice cream with scrunched nose
As her crush passes she looks down
Smiling giddy,
I smile trying to say her..
I see her there wiping eyes and smiling
With her high school degree.
I try to say her..
She is there in canteen laughing so much cutting the cake,
I open my mouth to talk,
I felt a tug on my top
I see the mini me.
I kneel down hugging her
She pulls away looking at me
Looking through me.
I whisper" what"
She smiles asking "Did you see that?
I ask again" Saw what?
Her tiny hands held my cheeks
She whispered,
"You were happy for everything you did
You found happiness in everything"
I looked at her serene face
She whispered "That's you"
You and me are same
She kissed my nose giggling
"Don't let me go"
I hugged her tight smiling
I woke up with a jerk at the first drop
of rain,This time I smiled
spreading my hands..
