RA's Poetry

To the Sunshine of every cancer patients

Swallowing the pain, blinking back her tears and wiping out the blood from corner of her mouth. 

She gives him a nod with her dazzling smile 

Looking away, gaining his composure and taming his screaming inside's asking him to gather her in his arms to protect her forever he gives her a half smile saying "Baby, Everything will be fine soon.. I love you"

There was silence... 

Touching her face on the screen taking in every features of her, he mumbled to himself "I wish I was there with you" 

Little did he know, 
He is the reason behind her happiness, 
He is the reason behind why she fights this battle, 
He is the thread of hope she held tight, 

Seeing pain in his eyes and lose of words she sighs thinking "I'm happy that you are not here"

Breaking the silence she spoke, 
Hey my Sunshine, I didn't know this nick name will suit you so perfect one day, when I started calling you like that.. But now it's true that you are a ray of shine in my dark world...
