Everyone ran to a nearby shelter, so did she
But suddenly stopped, as a question came to her mind,
You want to know what? It's a million dollars question indeed!!!
Why follow the herd mentality? She stood preplexed, as the rain drops touched her skin,
She smiled looking at the sky, as a drop fell on her chin making her giggle
She twirled holding her skirt, as a laughter erupted,
She ran to the end squealing clapping her hands seeing the rainbow,
The excitement of the child in her knew no bounds,
Her eyes sparkled at the ice cream van, and got one in each flavor in her hands
She ate it wiping her mouth in the sleeve
She felt like, she was living in a dream,
A fantasy come true.
As the rain cleansed off her soul, the first ray of sunshine gave her hope
Her happiness was sky high as the cloud cleared, so did her mind.
A small question paved her way to , realize her fantasy is now a reality.
And this is her.
A girl who found happiness in everything around her.
