LINDSAY'S POV

November 2nd, 2012. It was the day. The day I was able to see Sleeping With Sirens and Pierce the Veil live since Warped Tour. I had only gotten five hours of sleep, and I knew I was going to regret it later. But none of that mattered because I would later be in the presence of my two favorite bands.

It was 6:30 in the morning. The show didn't start for another 13 hours, and I still had school. I stared at the clock, annoyed at the time, wishing I could make it go faster. After about five minutes of procrastinating, I decided to get up and actually get ready. I took out my black Pierce the Veil shirt and my acid-wash jeans, and dug through the mess I called my closet for my black beanie. After about another five minutes of practically shoveling through all of my clothes for it, I put it on my dresser. I took about seven minutes to get my short, pixie-like hair the way I wanted it to be. As I adjusted my beanie, I heard my phone vibrate.

“Who the fuck..?” I was confused at the fact that someone actually texted me this early in the morning. Picking up my Blackberry knockoff, I saw that my best friend Izzy had texted me.

From: Izzy

OMFG ARE YOU EXCITED FOR TODAY.

To: Izzy

Well DUUUUH. Why wouldn't I be? :P

From: Izzy

Mkay, just checking. [; I'll see you at school, love. Ttyl!

Knowing that was the end of the conversation, I put my phone in my pocket. Deciding that I had time for a little scroll at tumblr, I logged on and reblogged a few photos. Realizing what time it was, I quickly put on my black Vans, grabbed my bag, and ran out the door to catch my bus. Something was telling me I was forgetting something, but I couldn't figure out what.

“How about no,” I said as I walked up to Izzy and Monica, overhearing Izzy's dressing plan for the concert.

“What? You don't think that my dark blue skinnies would look good with that one SWS shirt that I have?”

“Ahaha, no. It's not that. It's the shoes. Your blue Vans would throw off the whole entire outfit. You'd look ridiculous,” I opened up the locker I shared with Izzy and took out my Enviro. Science text book.

“I'll talk to you later, guys. I gotta get to class.” Monica quickly walked off, not wanting to be apart of our conversation.

“Okay, bye Monnie,” Izzy called as she got out her text book. “Oh, so what, you're a fashionista now? They're the only dark shoes that I have.”

“You can borrow my black Converse. Those would look way better. And no, I'm not a fashionista, I just know that with those Vans, you'd embarrass yourself.”

“Ugh, fine. If you think your Converse would look better, I'll wear them,” Izzy shut the locker door and put the padlock on it, and started walking to class. “By the way, you forgot to put on your glasses today.”

“...Shit. I knew I was forgetting something,” I said as I grabbed my face.

“Maybe you shouldn't spend so much time on tumblr.”

“Well maybe YOU...wait, how did you know?”

“Because you're my best friend, I know you all too well. You better not forget them tonight.”

“Trust me, I won't. I NEED to see Kellin's beautiful face. We're gonna try and get up front, right?”

“Duh, I've already got it planned out. We get in, and if there's already a bunch of people, we just say that we have a friend upfront that needs their inhaler,” Izzy gave a sly, cunning smile.
