Trafalgar Law oneshot: Too late (smut) Part 2

Silence had fallen over the straw hat pirates upon the news that just had been revealed to them.
Most were shocked that Ikumi was planning to leave them for Law, only Robin was carrying a gentle smile. She had already thought that this would eventually happen since the moment she'd seen the young couple together. The girl deserved this after years of getting her heart broken over and over again and she was glad that Ikumi finally had been brave enough to grasp this opportunity.

"For now it is only until we will reach the next island. Both crews have the same course".
Something clicked in Nami's mind. A few days ago, Law had asked her about this, but she hadn't thought that it had been because he already had been planning on this. To be honest she hadn't assessed the relationship between her friend and the surgeon as something so serious, but more of a short affair to blow off some steam. Obviously, she had been wrong. Now that she had been shown otherwise, she also noticed the change that had happened in Ikumi. This was a woman happily in love with sparkling eyes and a constant smile tugging on her lips.

It was Zoro who was the first to react. He crossed his arms and clicked his tongue. "What do you even want with that surgeon?". It wasn't that he disliked Law but he disliked that he simply came to his crew and tried to steal away one of his friends.
Ikumi sighed a little shaky, having seen reactions like this coming and that her crew may feel offended "I'm not sure what this between me and Law actually is and what it will lead to but right now it makes me happy. He makes me happy and I want to explore it further".
Those who knew how the failing relationship with the cook had been gnawing on her, nodded, but actually every single one of them was able to understand this. They all had once met a person that they would have like to get to know better but couldn't because they had to travel on.
"You know how hard it is to find someone in this life that we are living, so no that I might have the chance I don't want it to slip. Maybe Law is the right for me and if it turns out that he isn't then I hope that you will take me back"
"Of course, shishishi", Luffy laughed. Surely it was kind of a sad moment but the most important thing to him was that everyone was content "If this is what feels tight to you than go for it and if he hurts you than we'll beat him up"
With that everything was said, the captain had spoken and Ikumi was so glad that she got this off her chest. "Thank you, guys" "We just want you to happy" Nami came to hug her and soon the rest of the crew followed.

Except for one.

Sanji still stood frozen in the exact same spot than in the moment Ikumi had dropped that bomb. The world around him had stopped. Ikumi wanted to leave them?

To leave him?

"I'm going to leave the Sunny to go with Law"

This one sentence played over and over in his head and blocked out everything else. Just the call of his captain brought him back to reality "Let's party tonight and make this a proper goodbye for Ikumi". When the crew scattered to get everything they would need, he approached the woman. She was looking out at the sea, shoulders relaxed and a content smile on her face.
"Is this really what you want?".

She tensed slightly at hearing Sanji's voice. This too was a conversation she had known she had to have and that she did fear a little. Not because of his reaction but because of her reaction to him. If there still was a part within her that clung to her feelings towards the cook, she was afraid that this part would hold her back. Slowly she turned around but when her eyes raked across the man, there still was this slight pinch in her heart and a draw in her gut but it was by far as strong as it had been before Law. The attraction she had felt towards him for so long seemed to be mostly gone and left a painful reminder about how long she had allowed herself to be sad. But this would end now.
"It is. He is what I want". Law caused her to feel special and dare she to say it, loved.
