Finishing your upload

Agreement:

Make sure you read and agree to the terms of use and copyright policy. If not, you won’t be able to upload your work onto Wattpad.

Preview:

When you’re finished writing and you want to have an idea of what it will look once you’ve posted it online, you can click on “Preview”.  A new tab will open and there you’ll see how your upload is going to look. This should work for all browsers. If it's not working, then please contact Wattpad about it through www.wattpad.com/feedback

Once you’ve seen it, you can close that tab again by clicking on “Close” on top of the screen. You will go back to the screen where you were just seconds ago and no changes will have been made, so there’s no need to fear you’ll be losing anything you have been working on so far.

Save:

It is always very handy, and highly recommended to save your work every so often. You never know what might happen, and having your draft saved might be very useful in time. You can also just work on something, without wanting to post it immediately. When you click ‘Save’, a rough draft will be saved and none of it will be published. Though, as soon as you have published your work, every change you make will be changed in your published work as well by clicking “Save”.

Save & Publish:

When you’re finally done - you’ve read your work, checked the different options once more, and you decided that it is ‘finished’ – you can click on “Save & Publish”. Now your work will be saved first, and afterwards it will automatically be published to your profile page. Anyone who visits your page will now be able to see your upload (unless you’ve chosen ‘private’ earlier when you chose the visibility)
