The sound of small box falling in through the mail slot of the door, caused Jack's eyes to flicker open. His eyes resting on the sleeping face of Gwen who was curled up close to him, her head on his arm. He was taken back by the drool which was coating the corner of her mouth, it wasn't something he expected to see.
Simpering to himself, Jack would kindly replace his arm with a pillow, not letting her head drop into the water mattress by any means.
Once she was taken care of, he aimed his wrist to the ceiling and spun a thick web, using it to propel himself off the bed and towards the door of the room. He landed, like a hero, with one knee and hand on the ground.
Glancing over his shoulder, he raised a brow slightly, she was sitting up watching him.
Groggily she yawned and made grabby hands towards him. "Hey... Come back here..."
"What...?" Jack blinked, "Were you awake?"
"Yeshhhh..."
Clicking his tongue at this he shook his head, "Then get up and take a shower."
Her arms immediately dropped as she heard him tell her to take a shower. Her mouth was agape, as if the idea of showering anywhere but home horrified her. "Here?"
"...Yes...?" Jack squinted his eyes, before looking to the alarm clock. They had two hours until they had to leave for school. "Unless you want to run across the lawn half naked to your place."
She stared at him, he stared back.
"Then why don't you turn invisible and go get me some clothes so I don't have to?" Her head dropped to the side with a funny smile across her lips, her tired eyes not being very wide.
"...Or you could wear my clothes." Jack gestured to the large shirt she was wearing, then towards his closet. "Maybe... you can keep a sweatshirt?"
She pursed her lips as the proposal of keeping one of his sweatshirts, a hoodie. Most girlfriends typically stole their boyfriends jackets, or even their shirts, and never returned them. MJ had plenty of sweat shirts in her closet from a handful of ex's that she could recall.
"Alright," Gwen surrendered, taking the offer a she rolled off to the side of the bed before slipping onto her feet. She then padded on over to his closet opening the door to peer inside.
There were seven sets of school uniforms, about sixteen hoodies and various other articles of clothing that she could immediately see. Her eyes then shifted down towards the two pairs of sneakers and a pair of combat boots.
Her eyes shifted towards where Jack was once kneeling, but blinked seeing he was gone. "He's fast... And quiet," She murmured to herself before reaching into the closet and pushing each hoodie aside until she came across one from New Jersey Wildwood.
Removing the hoodie from the hanger it was on, she looked it over.
The hoodie was tie dyed with bright colors and a white base. It was soft to the touch, as if it metaphorically melted in her hands.
A beaming smile formed over her lips before she pulled the hoodie over her head. It was long enough to completely cover her thighs and the sleeves were a little too much in length. "The perfect dress," she wadded to the open bedroom door and peered out into the narrow hall.
She hardly heard anything.
Jack was going down the stairs, and when he finally reached the bottom, walked over to the front door. It was a small black cardboard box that had fallen through that mail flap.
