Normally Itachi was gone for weeks on a mission, or it was back to back missions. But lately I've been missing him a lot more.

So much to the point I'm leaving dinners out for him. It's been about three weeks since I've seen him. Pein has probably been working him hard lately.

I'm not apart of the Akatsuki but I'm friends with Konan. She knows about the two of us while pein is oblivious. I mean Itachi has only introduced me to his partner but I guess, Itachi didnt like us together so he never brought him back.

It was currently around two am, but I was currently making kelp rice balls, which were is favorite. I've been eating them for the past week in hoping he would return to his favorite meal. And this sucks because, one! My boyfriend isnt here and Two! I HATE kelp with a passion.

I was boiling the rice but I guess I was too caught up thinking about Itachi I didnt realize that I had my hand on the pot still, which led to me burning it.

"OW! FUCK ME!" I screeched, I quickly grabbed my wrist and ran towards my sink and basically tore the handle that controlled the water off.

My hand started to blister under the cooling water. I used my other hand to turn off the water and went to grab a towel.

"Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Fuck. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow." I said as I tried to dry off my hand. " WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE BANDAGES!?" I screamed. I mean lucky for me I live in the middle of the woods and with no neighbors, I mean you can be as loud as you want to be. Wink wink.

"Did I seriously give Itachi the last of my medical bandages?!" My eye brow twitched in irritation. " fuck it." I covered my hand in hello kitty bandaids and some sprinkle bandaids.
Long story short there was a lot of screaming and whining.

I long down at my hand a grown I look like a fucking child! I'm 21! And Itachi is almost 22, oh shit I should probably get him something soon. But who cares nasty dinner is a foot!

I got off my bed and ran back to the kitchen, which fortunately wasnt on fire. I sigh and finished up the dish within two hours... I fucking hate rice rolls. Its four am and I'm fucking eating dinner. I need a healthier eating schedule. I took a bite of my roll and almost threw up. Dont get me wrong im a good ass chef, but I think it was the kelp.

"So fucking disgusting I dont understan-" my head fell on the table with a loud bang and the clinks of the glass plates.

(ITACHI'S POV)

I give out a quiet sigh as Kisame and I walk by the forest (y/n) lived. Kisame looked at me and sighed.

"Your hopeless you know that? Just go over there. I'll tell leader you had something to do real fast." Kisame grunted. I looked up at him and nod.

"Thanks." And with that I was gone and infront of (y/n) little cottage. I went to open the door when the smell of kelp rice balls came through the cracks of the door. I smile slightly.

I open the door all the way, ready to be engulfed by a hug or a small 'itachi?' From her. But I frowned when I didnt.

"(Y/n)?" I asked quietly, I can still sense her Chakra but I dont see her, it's currently 4:50 am wouldnt she be in bed? I look to my left to see an empty messed up bed with bandaid boxes everywhere.

I walk into her house and walked into the kitchen to see wrapped up kelp rice balls on a plate infront of a sleeping (y/n). I chuckled a little, I walked infront of her, to see that she had a rice ball in her mouth and her hand on the table was covered in colorful bandages. I smile.  I take the rice ball out of her mouth and plate it on the plate in front of her.

I carefully pick her up and carry her over to her bed, gently placing her down. I smile and kiss her forehead. Her beautiful (e/c) eyes flutter open.

"Itachi?" She whispered in a question. I pretty sure every time she said my name like that it made my heart squeeze.

"Yes?"

"Oh, okay." She smiles weakly as she closes her eyes again. I smile and went to get back up but she grabbed my hand. "Hey, you left me for weeks and now you have to pay." She mumbled and pulled me down to lay in the bed with her.

"But babe, pein-"

"Its fine I'll tell Konan we were sleeping." She mumbled more. I let out a sigh and let her pull me down to bed, because we all know she couldn't get me to move a centimeter with all her force. I chuckle quietly at the thought.

I sighed a layed down, as soon as my back hit the bed she was laying on top of me pretty much already asleep.

"Hehe now you cant leave..." she trailed off and fell asleep. I played with her hair until I fell asleep.
