Chapter 8

You haven't seen Clyde in two weeks. Eva told you that Clyde had become abusive and obsessive. She moved out of Clydes apartment and hasn't seen him since. You walk out of your room and knock on Clyde's door. No one responds. You try to open the door, but it's locked. "Clyde! It's me!" You say. Then the door creeks open. It was Clyde. He smelled. His hair was messy, and he had dark circles under his eyes. "I missed you!!" Clyde exclaimed. He hugs you tightly. "What happened?" You ask. Clyde stares at you. "This ghost possessed me and Eva left and ghost came back and they made me unhappy" Clyde says. He looked miserable. You hug Clyde. He smiles. You walk inside. There was broken glass everywhere. The sink was overflowing with dishes. "All the glass was looking at me" Clyde says. The goofy smile fades from his face. Clyde escorts you past the broken glass and into his room. All the stuffed animals that were once on his bed were ripped apart, and the tv was smashed on the ground. Clyde sits on his bed, staring blankly at the ground. You sit next to him. He turns towards you, and you run your fingers through his messy hair. "What exactly did the ghost do to you?" You ask. "I was alone for so long, they took advantage of me, they made me scared" he said. "Did they make you break everything?" You ask. Clyde nods. You look into his eyes. He looked terrified. Then he started crying. Clyde hugs you. You hug him back. Clyde looks at you. His eyes were full with tears.
You wipe them away with your sleeve. "Thank you" he says. "You saved me"
