Chapter 3: vision of the future

The 6 took control of the entire fleet and within minutes they had turned the battlecruisers from a defensive position to offensive. The republic cruisers were taken completely by surprise by this sudden aggression and within minutes 4 of their ships had been destroyed. Kahu wanted to destroy the whole fleet but the others disagreed they need to buy time for the last cruisers to make it from the planet. They formed an battle play that seemed as if they were on the offensive to cover a defence for the transports to reach the cruisers at the far back.
They sent forth 4 of their battlecruisers head on into the republic fleet while another 5 would advance firing on the enemy. And in reserve was 7 more cruisers taking in the last of the transports. The battle from there went as predicted by the 6, the republic scrambled to get cohesion but thanks to the 4 cruisers rushing head into the fleet formations were impossible. And as the 4 ships advanced the republic began to been crushed, the 6 were soon informed that the last of the transports had reached the ships but they refused to leave just yet. The simple truth was if they retreated now it would only raise suspicion as they were winning. But they could not be drawn into a fall scale battle, so they came up with a plan which could work to their advantage and also purge into or two things.

The battle lasted for several more minutes the 4 advanced ships were pulled out as they were taking significant damage and the 5 remaining held a firm formation. The ships of the republic were beginning to fall apart one by one as the imperial battlecruisers continued their barrage. But soon it came time for the final and brutal plan to be put in motion. The six gave the Signal and 4 advanced ships were fired on by the 6s 5 ships that had formed up behind. the crew in those ships were all loyal to admiral varic and when they knew of his demise their would be more fighting within their own ranks and the 6 could not take that chance. The ships would also serve as a cover for their own escape with the majority of the fleet and army of korriban. As the 4 cruiser imploded the 6 ordered all ships to jump to hyper space. Korriban was lost but the sith were far from over and soon the galaxy would remember this day as the day the empire endured.

The fleet had been badly beaten and now reduced to a mere 12 battle cruisers. they held a position in space at the far reaches of what was once the sith empire controlled space. The 6 made the revenger their flag ship and summoned all high ranking officers to come aboard for a meeting. The revenges conference room was large and a large long black table in a T shape ran the entirety of it. And the far end the sith sat in the 6 seats facing down the table, it took time for all the officers to assemble but this was to be expected as they had to just killed a large percent of the higher ranking. When all officers were at last present they had the those from the navy sit on the seat in left side of the table and the army on the right side. The officer numbers tallied up, from the imperial navy were 4 commodores, 12 captains, and 6 commanders from the imperial army were 3 generals, 7 colonels, and 9 majors.
They 6 were anxious to get this done but they needed fight to get a fix on the resource and numbers they had at their disposal.

The naval officers looked to one another seeing which would be the one to stand and speak. In the end one of the younger male commodores rose.

Commodore: my lords with our combined strength throughout the fleet our numbers are 22389 including officers and personnel, our fleet the 12 battlecruisers are all fully functional with manner damage to the hulls, however we lost a considerable amount of fighters during the battle as of now we are down to half our strength.
