Hello Old Friend
I hate to say this
But I guess, this is the endWe've drifted apart
Like leaves on the breeze
It hurts my heartBut though I never want you to leave
And I want you to stay
I shouldn't waste my time and grieveYou may be gone
Lost in sands of time
Forever withdrawnBut everything you did for me
Those beautiful times
All those good deedsOur connection has frayed
But the memories
Will never fadeBecause I served my purpose
In your life
And you did
In mineBut remember, always
For as long as I live, If you need me,
I'll be there till my dying daysGoodbye, old friend
Until, if ever
We meet again.
