I looked at Finn in complete disgust.
"I need some water," I said standing up.
I jumped down the ladder and stomped out of the drop ship. Walking over to the fire I grabbed a glass and filled it with water. I slammed the water down my throat, when I tried to get more water I ended up dropping the cup in the fire.
"Ugh!" I let out a loud noise drawing some attention. "Do you need something?!"
Everyone instantly looked either looking scared or laughing. I tried grabbing the cup out with a stick but kept failing. Annoyed, I dropped to my knees putting my head in my hands.
"Need some help?" A guy said walking over.
"No, I'm fine!" I glared at him.
"Sorry, just trying to help," He put his hands up.
"I'm sorry. I'm just... frustrated at the moment," I sighed. "And yeah, I do need some help."
"Try this," He smiled grabbing another stick.
He put both sticks on each end if the cup and lifted it out of the fire.
"There," He said looking satisfied. "I'm Sterling, by the way."
"Bethany. But you can call me Beth," I stood up putting out my hand.
"Cool," He smiled shaking my hand.
When I looked to my right I caught Bellamy's eye staring at us. He had a questioning look on his face. I shook my head at him looking back at Sterling.
"What was that about?" Sterling must have noticed Bellamy and me.
"Nothing, he's... weird," I laughed a little.
He smiled at me when Bellamy walked over.
"Hey, I'm Sterling," He said sticking out his hand.
"Time to go," Bellamy said ignoring Sterling.
"I'm talking," I said.
"Fine, don't come," He stated walking away.
"Sorry," I sighed. "Talk later?"
"Yeah," Sterling laughed waving goodbye.
"Bellamy, slow down," I yelled at Bellamy as he practically ran away. "Bellamy!"
"What," He stopped rolling his head obviously annoyed.
"What your problem?" I asked.
"Maybe you should spend less time flirting and more time doing your part," He snapped.
"Whatever," I said crossing my arms.
He started walking again and I followed.
"Time to go," He said to his men that were standing in a circle.
They all nodded and we started to follow Bellamy out to the woods. The only person I really knew from the group was Adam and obviously Bellamy.
Bellamy led us threw some dense forest than out into a little bit less dense of forest.
"We'll go in pairs, Beth come with me," He said.
Everyone got with their partner and we spread out.
After about 20 minutes I heard a snort in some bushes.
"Bellamy," I whispered pointing in the direction.
Everyone started to walk around the outside of the sound. There was a black animal, which I think is a pig, walking around.
"Shh. Shes mine," Bellamy said ready to get it.
He started to throw but a branch cracked behind us and he whipped his hatchet in the direction. It stuck in a tree as a little girl gasped.
"What the hell?" I said.
Everyone started sprinting at the pig that was now running away because of the sound. Bellamy and I started walking over to the little girl.
"Who the hell are you?" Bellamy asked.
"Charollete," She answered.
"I almost killed you," He snapped taking his hatchet out of the tree. "Why aren't you back at camp?"
"With that guy who was dieing I just..." She trailed off. "I couldn't listen anymore."
"Theres grounders out here its to dangerous for a little girl," Adam added
"I'm not little," Charlotte snapped.
"Okay then," Bellamy smirked. "You can't hunt without a weapon. Ever killed something before?"
"No," She shook her head.
"Than who knows, maybe you're good at it," Bellamy smiled.
"Bellamy!" I hissed.
"Whats wrong killer," He smiled as we walked away.
"Shes like 10!" I said.
"Hey, she said shes not a little girl. Let do what she wants and hop off," He laughed.
"Fine but if she gets hurt... it's on you!" I put my finger in his chest.
He thought a little bit than sighed.
"Fine take her back," He decided.
"Charlotte, we're going back," I said grabbing her hand.
"What?" She asked. "Why?"
"Because the guys have guy business to do, lets go," I started walking away with her.
She sighed and walked with me. I figured she would fight me but thank god she didn't. We walked on the trail from the way to here, back. While we were walking a loud horn started to sound. We only have been walking for about 5 minutes so I figured if I called for Bellamy be would probably hear me.
"Bellamy!" I yelled. "Bellamy!"
All of a sudden I saw Bellamy and all the guys running toward us.
"Lets go!" He yelled grabbing Charlottes.
He yanked Charlotte so hard he pulled me causing me to trip over a log and fall.
"Bell-," I started to yell but than the fog started touching my leg.
I instantly got up but the fog still reached me and my leg felt like it was on fire. I had no idea where Bellamy had gone.
"Bellamy!" I cried.
"Here!" He was ahead of me waving.
I ran up to him and he pushed me into a cave like thing next to a tree. He stayed out for a few seconds than ran in.
"Oh god," He said examining my leg.
"Its fine," I sighed.
Charlotte laid down on the side of the cave on a little ridge. Ill keep watch I said walking toward the opening. Bellamy grabbed my arm.
"It's fine," He sighed.
He sat down against a wall and I sat down next to him.
"How do you think their doing?" I asked.
"Who?"
"...Everyone,"
"Hopefully they all made it and if not, we're gonna have a problem," He looked down.
I leaned my head back and fell asleep.
